I was there in October, they accept foreign passports for check in. They did require to review and make copy of the passport for each guest staying in the room. The breakfast is marvelous! Location is good too, slightly farther from the metro station but walkable.
This is a video of the interior room, has window but opened up to a wall. Supposedly a King size bed but more like a full size. Remember to watch till the end as I also include the breakfast spread in the 2nd half of the video. Enjoy your stay!

So, I'm ending the year with 98 nights So I just checked in for 2 nights at a Urcove in Shanghai to get the 100 milestone awards. They upgraded me to an exec room which is quite nice. Peeets coffee capsules, tianfu tea and a Dyson hair dryer. Breakfast is great and parking is free.
340 rmb so less than $50 USD a night. My wife came and was surprised how nice it is. I think we'll be staying at urcoves more to save money. I'll do mattress runs here whenever needed
Doesn't code as a Hyatt for chase so I'll have to call them again to get bonus points. That's annoying. But overall this is a good, cheap option. And I like either cheap or expensive.

I haven't stayed at caption but I'll stay at more urcoves from now on - this time they also upgraded me. This room is pretty darn nice. The first time was a tiny box of a room. I hope Urcoves will give globalists upgrades.
There's no point for globalists to stay at urcove or HPs etc if we don't get any tangible benefits. A room upgrade would be nice

I used my Hyatt card. Last time it didn't code - it gave just one point per so I had to call in. We will see this time. Good they you got it automatically last time. Hopefully I will too.

So my stay didn't post as a Hyatt stay on my chase Hyatt credit card account again. Just posted as Yiyi. I just wrote a message to chase support asking for them to manually fix which is annoying and which I had to do last time as well. Hopefully they'll fix this. It does code as a travel expenses so maybe next time I just use my CSR to pay and get 3x automatically and not worry a kht lost 1x on such a cheap rate.
The other problematic i didn't receive an invoice like they said I would. 24 hoursater I had to message them in Chinese and ask for it. They they sent me a code to scan with the invoice. I'm not sure how non Chinese speakers without WeChat would get this - for park Hyatts in China they email the invoice. I'm not sure if urcoves can email or of they just WeChat to me because I have WeChat. But asking for the invoice Ina follow in Chinese might be hard for some.
