And don't even mention the space for the Centurion members, a glass box, like a terrarium, where they can be observed by the main room like zoo animals. Zero privacy. Uncomfortable chairs.
Temperature so cold that you need to become fan of a Charlotte sports team by buying an overpriced blanket inside the airport.

Had the pleasure of transiting thru CLT over the past couple of weeks (connections and O&D) after not having passed through in 9+ months. B and C felt like theyre busting at the seams with people, but otherwise it was fine. C club was slammed, but I expected that, particularly with their phased construction approach. Took ~2 minutes to get thru Pre.

I can't wait to see the responses to this from the people lacking a sense of humor.
On a serious note, I am growing to like the B Admirals Club more than the bigger one. The AAngels seem to work much harder for me there. After I resigned myself to a long layover during IRROPS, 30 minutes later the AAngel had still been working to see what she could do and got me seats on a flight that had some seats open up and got me cleared into F preserving the upgrade. Also, the bartenders that work at the B club always seem to be more friendly.

Feeing frenzy at the buffet line and a line for the bar down the narrow corridor? That was my experience when I was there a couple of years ago. Havent gone back since.

I then make a note of the flight numbers that "work for me" and propose them to the AAngel when I get to the front of the line -- tends toward a Win-Win outcome.

...and all the ceilings, and sprinklers/piping/control valves and alarm systems and sensors. Since they can't redo decor until the ceilings were back in shape, that's where this timeline came from. Bathrooms, OTOH, were accessible.

Not sure if this is uniquely a CLT problem, but this seems to only happen to me at CLT. What is up with American swapping planes off an on time flight to get it on a flight that's already significantly delayed, then give the on time flight a new plane that will now result in the on time flight getting hit with a 2 hour delay. Why only have one flight that's delayed when you can have multiple?
Was on AA1830 CLT-JAX last night, inbound from TPA was supposed to arrive at the gate at 5:30, our departure on time at 6:13. Then right before that plane lands, I get a notification of a departure time change to 7:55 and a new plane with a new gate. Meanwhile, AA coded it as maintenance even though the original plane did AA1752 CLT-FLL at 6:31 which was already delayed. Both of these flights had to turn around and go back to CLT too, and one might could argue that by doing this they could have to overnight less people at CLT on the return flights, but 1752 and 1830 both got back to CLT within 3 minutes of each other, so basically everyone on 1830 back to CLT just missed their connections for no reason.

I'd contend that CLT has the worst layout of any large hub airport in the US (the narrow alleyways are an absolute killer, especially at the RJ concourse). I've utilized almost every legacy hub airport in the US, and none is more affected by congestion, cascade delays, and general unpredictability from a passenger perspective.

American runs nearly 40,000,000 passengers through that facility annually; AA runs about 53,000,000 through DFW. Compare the physical sizes of the terminals. You'll understand why some people avoid CLT.
#1 passenger totals
#2 5 clubs (DFW) v 2 clubs (CLT)
#3 limited customs service
#4 etc
