I’m looking at NUAs for some of my upcoming reservations and seeing much higher suite types than before - example, WOW suites at W London.

don’t think u need to worry about that part. Looking at RC Tokyo right now, got 1 bedroom executive suite all the way up to Carlton Suite, none of those ‘bigger room’ or ‘higher floor’ BS. Of course the big question will be how likely the NUA will be cleared.

Several examples - these suite types were not available before based on my memory:

I'm afraid to cancel my SNAs to see what potential new options are at the Prince de Galles as I believe time of request is one of the metrics used for SNAs.
Can anyone see if the pool goes above Macassar suite now?

I refuse to believe that there's a hint of excitement and optimism in this thread now. Come on, Flyertalkers, time to bring it back down to earth with predictions of NUAs only clearing into higher floor broom cupboards with an internal view of a brick wall and a dumpster.

I’m waiting for someone to claim it’s a glitch.

Bet it's a mistake and the properties aren't aware they're releasing those into the upgrade pool.

This happened after the SPG acquisition when the IT changed and properties unknowingly released premium suites into the pool.

Nothing marriott has done over the recent years makes me believe even for a moment that they are trying to improve program for guests.

Whether it's a glitch or a rollout tease before properties pull the inventory I don't know but hey grab it while you can...

At this time Mariott made the official NUA launch announcement, so we can transition the discussion from speculation to realisation.
