In April 2020 Chase criteria for approving BUSINESS card applications became more stringent. All Chase INK products are business cards. Chase also issues co-branded business cards for United Airlines (2 different biz cards), Southwest Airlines (2 different biz cards), Hyatt and IHG.
For general information about applying for Chase cards, including explanation of the unpublished 5/24 rule, please review the Wikipost of the PERSONAL card thread: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/chas...ds-2023-a.html
Anyone can apply for a business card as a sole proprietor. If your business has a registered company name, which Chase can verify, you may use the name to apply. Otherwise, use your legal First and Last name as the business name. Do not add any extra words, do not use a made up name. If Chase cannot verify the name the application will fail.
Useful Chase telephone numbers
(888) 269-8690 - Business Credit Card Application Status Line, automated
(800) 453-9719 – Business Credit Card Reconsideration Line with live rep
(800) 453-9719 – Credit Reallocation Office (Business cards)
(888) 622-7547 – Executive Offices
Twitter: @ChaseSupport
Note: The automated Status Line often shows no record of business card applications. This does NOT mean that there is a problem with your application. You will need to contact Chase to learn the status, or wait for Chase to contact you.
You can use a single Username on chase.com to manage both Business and Personal card accounts, but you will initially need to set them up separately, and then telephonically ask customer service to combine them by merging the Personal account into the Business account. It cannot be done the other way. Once personal account is merged to business account, if all business cards are closed while keeping one (or more) personal cards open, online access to all cards will terminate and a new personal (online) account will need to be created using a different username than previous personal account.
Update: It is possible now to link Business and Personal accounts online. First set them up separately, then log into the Business account and follow this click path: Icon at the top right that looks like a person -> Profile & Settings -> Account Settings -> Manage Linked Accounts. Then look for the "Link relationship" option for the personal accounts. For more information on linking accounts: How to link Chase personal and business accounts?

All this talk about rapidly churning the Ink cards is starting to give me déjŕ vu back to the AA WE credit card massacre that happened a few years ago (in which I lost 100s of thousands of miles and had my account shut down). I've only been brave enough to get the same Ink card maybe one or two months under 2 years from the previous card...even with an EIN.

people were able to get offers from Citi addressed to other people, by using their choice, and open a new card and get the sub, even though they had received it within the last 24 months and already had the card. I think every 90 days it would work. Citi and aa shut those people down

I have chase ink business cash. I’m nearing the SUB ($60 left by January 2024!) and need another $6k spend that I want as cashback and not travel points.
can I apply for the chase ink business unlimited or am I pushing my luck too much? I can probably qualify for $5 / $11k based on chase choice; my two business cards are at these points while my chase amazon has $29k (!) credit. My other chase personal cards also have a lot of credit and I tend to charge at most $4k a month spread between 4 big banks too big to fail.

Thanks - I’ll wait for that 90 days. With my luck the chase ink business unlimited $900 offer might disappear once that 90 days hits lol

(Premier earns special UR points that can't be transferred to partners, but still can be used for travel or cash)

Actually, the AA WE was a loophole that occurred when people would get an AA card, get the bonus, then Citi sent them a new card that had 'WE' on it, and it looked like there had not been a sub received in their system...which then freed that person to apply again. And back then the limit on receiving bonuses was every 18 months, not 2 years.

Just to be clear, except for the Premier, all the Ink cards earn UR that can be used for travel. It's just that you can convert to cash 1 UR = 1 cent, so some of them advertise as cash back cards.

INK Premier points cannot be moved to another card nor transferred to airline or hotel programs.

So I do think both P1 and P2 are going to apply in Dec for INK UNLIMITED. If it were you, would you bother with reducing credit limit on other existing Chase cards prior to applying? Our bizs are sole prop, no EIN, and very low revenue...if you get my drift. None of the below cards have any current spend/balance on them, 800+ across the board. Probably not worth the hassle to reduce I'm thinking, but maybe I'm an outlier.
P1 has:
Chase Sapphire Reserve, $34.0K
Chase Ink Biz Preferred, $16.5K
P2 has:
Chase Ink Biz Preferred, $10.5K
