Just verifying, the 4 U rewards coupons still regenerate on a weekly basis, correct? E.g. a "12 Rewards for $20 Off" coupon is able to be clipped and saved 4 times per month?

I know they used to be on a one shot per month cadence, then became more generous when they revamped the 4 U program, but wanted to make sure their generosity didn't evaporate.

Few of us have needed these since rewards earning evaporated. If you know better please PM I've tried all styles of VGCs recently and nothing gives points anymore, at least in my area.

I have read sporadic rumors that some ppl get points on some series of GC, but I tried them all recently and got nothing. Even the latest pathward-backed cards. Maybe they get nuked as fast as they're discovered.

Unfortunately nothing exciting to report, simply want to leverage the current 10x on Google Play efficiently. But agree with you, have had no reason to pay attention to 4 U rewards for quite awhile.

Policy has changed as of 3/2 for the stores in my area (New England). Prepaid cards are now specifically disallowed for money order purchases regardless of whether it has a pin and only one swipe is allowed per money order purchase. It doesn’t appear to be hard coded so it’s up to the clerk to enforce, but the new policy is clearly posted.

That has been the policy at most of the Shaws and Start Markets in my area (NE) for almost two years now. Where are you buying MOs that just recently changed this policy?

Secure Spend gift card from Giant works at Safeway for 450$ money order with 99 cent fee. Nothing particular about amount of MO, just didn't want to look like other people buying exact gift card amount and there been some issues for other gift card from other thread. First time using this gift card from giant and it was a hassle with activation but worked like normal at the end.

The SS GC are serviced by InComm via MB….now Pathward Bank…and have been working for MO at Walmart n grocery stores since 2021. Glad you hopped on the bandwagon! 😊. InComm is expanding the stores carrying them to more areas.

The big supermarket chain in my neck of the woods made the same policy change about 1.5 years ago and went to cash only for MOs.

Even the sympathetic CS agents who knew me were loath to bend or break the rules, and I can understand given that doing so could lose them their job. Not something I want to be responsible for.

Starting May 1, 2023, WU is implementing a change to discontinue accepting PIN based gift cards for money orders at all Albertsons/Safeway stores in order to stop point chasers.
WU is clamping down on the point chasers. I suspect WMT will be in WUs crosshairs as well.
