List of Lounges Currently OPEN to BA Passengers (open wiki for details)
This wiki includes details of open lounges accessible to premium (F/J or Gold/Silver) passengers travelling on BA operated services, either within the terminal BA depart from or accessible via airside transfer.
Other lounges may be accessible for passengers willing to transfer landside to other terminals or concourses, although this is generally not recommended due to time constraints as a result of needing to re-clear security. Additionally, some airports may offer pay-in lounges which are not otherwise accessible by BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently).

It will be interesting to see what they actually offer in the CX lounge given the absolute trashing HKG and CX are having, I doubt there's any money for the restaurant etc.

It’s about the only explanation that makes any sense. Given that HK has banned inbound flights from the UK and transit passengers, I assume CX can’t legally carry any passengers from the UK to HKG. They were the designated lounge for Finnair but given that the key Asian markets they connect to through HEL are still pretty locked down, I can’t image there are loads of passengers.

That's exactly what I thought when I heard the news. Wouldn't surprise me at all - poor CX need all the help they can get right now. They're the airline I'm most worried about surviving the pandemic.

This is what makes this piece of news somewhat dubious and the alternative explanation put by some here sounds rather unconvincing. Do we have live reports of individuals who have in fact accessed the lounge since this alleged re-opening?

The qantas business class lounge is open again at LAX after maintenance works. It is a serious downgrade from the Star Alliance Lounge, which was used by BA during the closure of the Qantas lounge, in terms of food and drinks. You have to show your vaccination certificate in order to have access because they claim it is a restaurant. You do not have to show your vaccination certificate in any other lounge or restaurant within LAX. Very strange. The qantas First lounge will not re-open before March. The AA FL is not open. The lounges of all other major airline groups withinTBIT are open. The Amex centurion lounge is supposed to re-open this month.

Pretty much a buffet breakfast with the usual sausages, eggs, fruits, cold meats, drinks etc. No having to order using a QR code on a table.
Very friendly staff.
Seems the Cathay lounge might be open now, so another potential option there. Not sure if status dependent, or class of travel.
