It’s about the only explanation that makes any sense. Given that HK has banned inbound flights from the UK and transit passengers, I assume CX can’t legally carry any passengers from the UK to HKG. They were the designated lounge for Finnair but given that the key Asian markets they connect to through HEL are still pretty locked down, I can’t image there are loads of passengers.
