While we are at it, the Curve card can also be of interest to those who hold a AY branded card (or any other point earning Mastercard or Visa credit card).
The curve card is similar to Revolut, but does not require a top-up. Instead, it masks your credit-card(s) and presents a debit-card to the merchant. This has the benefit of avoiding many fees associated with your credit-card, while still getting the points. It has one more trick up its sleeve called go back in time, where you can retroactively change which card you want to be charged. I am happy to explain the benefit of that on PM.
I am happy to provide a referral code that earns you and me 5GBP on Curve.

So if I understand correctly, you get 200 free cash withdrawals per month with the free card, and then pay 2% of everything else you withdraw. The premium card costs 7/month and allows you to withdraw up to 400 per month, i.e. you save 4 on cash withdrawals if you withdraw the maximum amount, so effectively you pay 3 extra and don't get anything else which is useful. The metal card costs 13/month, but you save 8 on withdrawal fees if you withdraw more than 600/month, and then you need to find a reason to make up for the extra 5, so it essentially boils down to how much you use the card outside the EU due to the cashback feature.
Also, it looks as if the card may convert currency from any random balance if you don't have money in the transaction currency, so if you have DKK, EUR and SEK on the card but make a transaction in NOK, then money could be converted from any of DKK/EUR/SEK, so better not use the card if someone else (say, an employer) is going to refund you as it is more complicated for you to figure out which exchange rate to use when billing the person.
Also, if I understand it correctly, DCC-enabled merchants think that it's a GBP card, so better avoid using the card at home so that you at least avoid the DCC fraud when you are at home and don't even have any GBP on the card.

I believe you do, and by math alone the premium tier is not worth it.
I paid 60€ for premium, which alters the math a little.
The turbo-tansfers and the disposable virtual cards are other benefits I like and value.
Exchange rates are clearly visible on each transaction. You actually get a clear receipt in pdf of all purchases with the exchange rate printed and in the app you are able to scan and store the paper receipt from the actual purchase too, so I'd say it is even better than using your regular card. I've used it to claim expenses, had no issues with that.

It does not convert from any random balance, the procedure is described on their pages. And if one does not trust that procedure to do what you want, you can convert money yourself before the purchase.
I have yet not met a domestic merchant using DCC on me. Cant't understand why they would? The card present as a SEK card in Sweden, unclear to me why e.g. a SEK merchant would try to convert SEK to SEK via a fake exchange rate.
Abroad DCC merchant may try to charge locally and convert to SEK, but that is same issue with a normal sweden issued card so no difference.

I can't answer what happens if your eur balance is 0. Maybe it exchanges from the next available currency.

I got email today from Finnair which states DC ends at 31.5.2019 and that I should apply for Finnair Plus Mastercard (which has same name sounding name as previously mentioned Nordea one? 2P = 1€?)
I remember nordea having some campaign ending in end of march and obviously its not valid anymore, and now there is also SEB alternative (at least issuing bank is SEB) that gives first year fee lifted and 5000 points addition on first purchase (apply before 30.4.2019), but this card only 1P = 1€ ?
I guess we are speaking two different cards here? ie. SEB FPMC and Nordea FPMC? or have I confused something here?
.. on side-note: Those previously mentioned "proxy-cards" (as I call em)
I have been using Curve since it game available to companies and I think its pretty good. Basically only thing that has caused little murmur lately is that weekend FX rate. (And of course I must mention currently ongoing amex / metal / platinum whatsoever "tsajaja", but i'm 99.9% sure that I stay on grandfathered status on my curve black.)

Nordea AY card does have a travel insurance but SEB AY card do not? I did not noticed any mention of travel insurance on SEB or Finnair Plus SEB card page.

SEB has Finnair status based points even when email was not telling it ("Saat kaikista ostoistasi 1 palkintopisteen euroa kohden.") and forgotting to mention that its based on your FP level. However application page itself told "at least 1 point for 1e" and then confuse even more: Nordea has its own FPMC which has 2 points regardless of status. (probably) No problem to think which one to choose after 05/19.

Can't their credit card e-invoice be delivered to another Finnish bank's internet bank? I have cards (as well as my banking) with Nordea and the invoices I get from them are just normal e-invoices similar to the ones sent by other suppliers.

I thought the monthly "fee" was a billing fee so if you use the card you pay the fee no matter what... In addittion to the annual fee? Its been years since I used my Nordea cards but I do still carry 4 of them just incase 😁
