I'm on day 31. I'm assuming that wait times for recent applications are longer than they have been in previous months because more people have been applying in anticipation of holiday travels? In any case, I hope to get approved soon for my upcoming trip to Asia! Fingers crossed for some holiday magic.

I have found this thread very useful, and re-assuring to see other folks are experiencing similar delays.
just bringing up the half century (50 days) of waiting so thought I would post. Looking for some of that FT magic dust...
applied for myself and family (2kids+partner) at end of October (10/21) and all 4 of us are still waiting.
We travel to Europe a couple of times a year as a family. At this point have given up hope of getting it before our Christmas travel but hope it comes through quickly all the same, so we can get sorted for our 2019 travel.

I applied for my son on Oct 20th 2018
Paid on Oct 28th 2018
My son is 8 years old US Citizen.
My wife, myself and another son applied a prior and all ours were approved and we finished our interviews day before yesterday and done. But he is stuck for some reason. I checked the application and does not look like I have made any mistake.
Is there a number or email I could reach them on?
Please advice. It's 43rd day today for him.

My wife and I applied and paid for GE on 12/3 and were conditionally approved on 12/10. If you count just the working days we waited, it was 4 days (submitted after business close on 12/3 and 12/5 government was closed). We are currently Pre-Check, but it’s set to expire middle of 2019. We don’t have a GE office in our city, so we’ll schedule the interview in Seattle or Houston during our next trip early next year.

Hey Everyone,
Just a quick update: I got my conditional approval today! woohoo! Now on to schedule my interview. I'm also hoping to be able to interview on arrival on my next trip to the US.

Hi all. I applied and paid 12/8/18 (12/9 if EST) for GE. If approved and able to get an appointment on January 15 at LAX (same day as my flight), will I be able to use at least the TSA precheck right away? Thanks a lot.

It's obviously just coincidence that when people post on here, complaining about CPB and how long it takes to get conditional approval for Global Entry, they then suddenly get approval. It def has not worked at all for me. I dont think CPB reads this at all. I just wish they did!!
