Applied: 9/16/17
Conditional Approval: 9/29/17
Scheduled interview for 10/1/17 in Blaine, WA. No Seatac availability until mid November, and no Boeing Field openings until February 2018. If you're in Seattle the Blaine location is really a great option; it's only 1.5-2 hrs away and it's open on weekends.

How bad is the processing time in Chicago ORD?
We applied on 9/12 and still gotten no conditional approval
Same for my 5 year-old.
Is Chicago back logged heavily?
Thanks!

Finally got my conditional approval today. I had applied on July 11th, so took a full 2 months... I also emailed CBP twice, last time was last week, not sure if that eventually helped or not.
Now need to figure out where I can get in for an interview quickly as Cleveland, which is where I am has the first available dates in Dec!!

You should able to get a conditional approval depending on your background check within 3 weeks, mostly 2.

Both myself and my wife applied for GE on 9/25/17. We're both UK citizens and got Conditional Approval yesterday (10/10/17) just over two weeks. We're travelling through Arizona in November so were looking for Interviews in either Phoenix or Tucson. Phoenix had limited availability but Tucson had wide open availability 5 weeks out. If you don't mind driving a bit further, don't forget the Center in Nogales; they appear to have 3 interviews per time slot (81 per day).

With the GOES/TTP website delay, I learned of my conditional approval 5 days after applying.
CBP gave me verbal approval at the end of the 5-10 minute interview and I got the email a few minutes later.
US citizen without any recent travel to eyebrow-raising countries.

The problem is getting to one of the Seattle locations on a weekday, even if I could find an opening. Neither my spouse nor I could get time off work to do this, so the Blaine location worked out better for us all around.
