Interview JFK 7/10 @ 2:30 for myself & 7:15 pm for my husband. Initial interview was scheduled for EWR 7/18 @ 5:40 am for both of us. At least one of us is happy that we got a closer location since we live in Long Island.
Take your husband with you at 2:30 pm tomorrow. Maybe they will interview you both at the same time slot. Good luck and let us know the result.

Applied online 061316, recd conditional approval the evening of 070616,Ckg online and end of July was earliest available, but then checked Nogales and they were completely open for interviews, so scheduled for 070816. We waited about 15 minutes and the process for both my spouse and I took about another 15 minutes. I asked the border patrol agent if they were handling a lot of GE interviews (Nogales is at AZ/Mexico border). He said yes, but most were coming from long distances - guy before us was from NY. We received our notification today, 070916 that we are approved - just waiting for card.

Just an FYI , the Border Patrol agent also advised that once we get our GE card, we can just use that to cross the US/ Mexican border and we don't need the passport, however passports still required at airports.

Moral of story is once you get conditionally approved if you want next day interview, there's always Nogales AZ. 😉

I read that the GE card is an acceptable ID domestically for flying, obviously not internationally.

I was conditionally approved in mid May. I checked SFO (closest to where I live) and the earliest appointment was for mid November 2016. I wanted to use GE for a trip to Europe in October. I was going to be in San Diego in mid June and was lucky to get an appointment at Otay Mesa for the time period I would be visiting. Being flexible on where and when is the key.

Applied-6/16
Conditionally approved-7/2
Interview-7/9; initial appt was for 12/24 when I first started looking on 7/2. Kept checking and got the 7/9 appt on 7/6.

I was hoping they could squeeze my husband in (he has an appt 7/10 after much searching) after my appt so he came with me this morning. I checked with the agent who checked me in and with the agent who did my interview. Both said they couldn't do it. The walk in appts were already filled up for the day, or at least until 4:00 pm (my appt was at 9:30 am). They both said we were welcome to wait but no guarantees. We decided to just head back up there tomorrow for his scheduled interview.

4/23 - Applied
4/28 - Conditionally approved
7/9 - Interview at PDX

The interview was extremely short -- he basically asked only what countries I had traveled to and if I had any upcoming travel plans, and took my fingerprints. PDX only recently opened up Saturday appointments; there was only one person doing interviews, while there were three stations in the room. Showed up 15 minutes early and was called immediately. I was told I was approved at the end of the interview and got the e-mail from GOES by the time I'd gotten back to my car. There was a sign at the front stating that walk-ins were not allowed.

How do I contact anyone about GE application? My child's interview result still shows "scheduled for interview" even though We all had appointment on same time 3 days ago and we got final approval update an hour later but no update for my toddler.

I contacted the local GE enrollement number but says number is disconnected.

The officer said we don't have to and the finger prints of most child don't work but we told him we will try.We tried but the officer said he can't tell for sure if the finger print worked. He says if his fingerprints don't work, there would be X on his GE receipt and a CBP agent will have to check his passport.

I and my wife got( status change) approval email hour later but no update for our child.

Normal?

Apply online: June 9th

Interview : July 8th at ORD

Final approval an hour later for parents but no update for the 30 month old child. Should we be worried? Is it because of our child's finger print?
Congratulations! I am curious, did the question of the agriculture violation you mentioned in post 3841 not come up in the interview? Thanks!

None, the only 2 questions are" been to canada or mexico , and arrested? besides name and DOB.

Wife and I got final approval update an hour later but no final approval update for our toddler child. His status still shows" interview scheduled" the same date we picked before going for the interview.

I wonder why his status didn't change yet and has been 3 days now. We tried his finger prints even though the officer said no need to.

I may have to go back to the GE location I guess. The number i found online don't work.

We arrived at JFK at appx. 2:05 pm and there were a number of people waiting. They called my husband & I at 2:35 pm and by 2:47 pm, we were finished. We got our approval on the spot and the email confirmation was rec'd at 2:51 pm.

The CBP officer who conducted the interview was pretty funny. Although my husband had a 7:15 pm appointment, she jokingly told him that he'd have to wait 4 more hours which gave us a good laugh since I told him he could hang out there and I'll come back later. As an aside, she even said they encourage couples with same appointment dates but different times to show up together at whichever of the appt'ment time that works for them.

If I go day but day from then on it shows full 24 hr schedule. Trying to look for cancellations and wondering if others can get the late night appts to display properly. Am I missing something? Running Windows 10 and tried both Chrome and IE browsers in case that helps.
Question 2: Any one have a best time for walk ups in SF?
thanks in advance

Take a look at post #226 and the Wikipost in the Global Entry Walk-In Interviews thread.
