I did see your post, thank you. However you state the availability is there through 21 June 2016. I can only disagree, as I see nothing available at all in any cabin from January - June 2016 on the route I am looking for, which is within the window you quoted. It was there 2-3 weeks ago, now it is not.

2) No pushback on spending more miles. I considered doing JFKAUHDPS to experience ET F this past summer but in the end opted to conserve and go with CX.
3) That's good intel. I'm split ticketed right now, JFKDOH for two us, LGABOSDOH for the other two, meet in DOH and continue to JNB. Much more fun to fly together.

Looks as if North America has a different booking window. Availability currently exists up until June 21, 2016 as of October 8, 2015. That's 257 days. What's unclear is if this is a hard stop, or if the window advances each day. Check June 22, 2016 tomorrow for the answer.

Not so sure this is accurate. Just saw multiple J seats via PHL/DOH available in Aug 2016 (16, 17, 18 in a quick search) which is way beyond the 257 day mark. Still can't find many IAD/DOH or DOH/IAD availability which was VERY available just a few months ago. Hopefully it's fixed soon.

Good catch. I'm still flummoxed in regards to QR availability. It has been highly reliable in the U.S., it still is highly reliable around the world, but North America is not what it once was. I'm currently scheduled ZNZDOHAUH on QR and AUHJFK on EY, on two separate awards as a result.

Currently not able to find anything ex-US on QR, having searched several routes and numerous ranges of dates using BA.com. Hoping that it is an IT issue as the previous posters suggested.

Availability looks ample until June 21st, then practically non-existent until August 16th, looks good for a few days...then nothing. I'm no IT expert, but I don't see how this is a glitch.

I have had instances in the past where BA.com literally has major changes in displayed inventory minute-to-minute, so I don't put anything past it.

Just wondering is anyone has had any luck finding J award availability DOH to/from Australia. QR recently announced ADL as well as SYD, MEL, PER but I've searched all of these and seen no award seats at all - even in Y. Since it is a bit tedious searching day by day I have been sampling random dates (Monday/Tuesday/Wed) over many months. (I've been using KVS - QF and BA methods). Maybe I'll burn a bundles of points and use AwardNexus to do an exhaustive search.

Been eyeing 2 J awards PHL/BOS-DOH-CPT/JNB in July/August this summer. Availability looked great about two weeks ago. Of course now that we've opened up vacation bidding I can't find a single seat. I saw someone else notice that there's no availability but it opens up around the 13th of August. IT glitch or did QR maybe close the seats for award?

Could someone do me a favor and look up JFK-JNB flight availably in Business for either 9/10/2016 or 9/11/2016 (my BA account is useless) ? We need to be in JNB on the 13th and like to get in early as not to miss the intercountry flight to Maun.
Right now AA is holding a EC/Bus tix combo leaving on the 10th @1025 getting me in DOH 6am on the 11th and then leaving on 9/12 at 140am arriving JNB on 8:45am.
Seems wonky so any insight would be more than welcome.
