The problem has been discussed in several posts there. You might have to go back a few pages; I think I first noticed and posted about the problem late last week or early this week.

I had a '&' in my payee nickname and I ran into the same issue. After removing it I was able to click on the 'Review' button. Click on Bill Pay -> My Payees to edit your payee nickname.

Once I did that, bill pay started working again. In the meantime, I was able to use their app to pay the bills, so you may want to try that as well.

I ran into the same issues as you a few days ago. As the poster above suggested, go through your payees one by one, and verify all information is correct without any special or funny characters. For some of my payees, it seemed that the 9 digit zip was an issue (oddly enough).

That is the KEY, and ACH is totally 100% traceable because they all go thru a central clearing house (google what ACH stands for) between banks. There is no human being needed to identify the payment as long as you have set it up with the correct account information.
In the early days of BB, people reported numerous cases the payee sides had misplaced the checks because when they received such, often they had no clue who sent this and for what. So the clerks may put it aside waiting for further investigation which often is not the first task on hand... you get the picture.
With all these potential hazards, people still using manual checks are using such at their own risk especially now you have the pre-authorized check option.
And please, stop expecting BB functions like your regular bank for which it is NOT. If you want all those functions you take it for granted from your regular banks, please dont use BB, use your regular bank. Plain and simple - you cannot have your cake and eat it too. Use indirect payment mechanism as a poster suggests to avoid this type of headache.

I have not heard of an instance that payee has not received on an ACH transfer. My landlord (billion $ RE Company) returned BB check because its non-bank check [with a strange approval code? what does it mean? bit suspicious! like me (non-bank) approving your check!] and tried to charge me a late payment! The BB check book is useless to me, and I strongly suggest everyone....

So i sent a bb bill pay to my landlord, they never received it, went through the dispute process and BB is saying it has been cashed. I dont think my landlord is lying about it. If some1 else received the check would they be able to cash it at a money mart or something similar without having the correct ID? I also realize it may be easy to fake an ID. BB is saying the cannot help me further.

Does Bluebird allow you to write a check to yourself? I know many people have done it already, but just wondering if I can do that and then cancel my account. Planning to switch to Serve right after and don't want to hurt my chances for signing up for Serve.

After months of successful payments on my mortgage, noticed today that the mortgage bank didn't show a payment for the current month. BB says it was sent, bank didn't receive. I asked my bank what the previos payments "looked like" to their system. (ie was it ACH, etc.) They said it looked like I had walked into a branch and made an in-person payment. That was my first clue that BB was sending a physical check rather than an ACH. Thanks to this thread, I knew to call BB back. They have initiated a dispute, and say I will hear from them in 10 business days. Meanwhile, I've had to pay my $1800 mortgage again. I sure hope BB finds that check or finds for certain that it hasn't been cashed!
