Free Night Offer at various MO with Amex

Just has an offer from Amex for the Summer Amex promo at MO. Book on MO website and pay with an Amex. Available from July to early September.

Some hotels are offering buy 2 get the third free (e.g. MO HK)
Some are offering buy 3 get the 4th free (e.g. Landmark MO)

Some nothing.

Seems a good offer to me. A quicj check against the MO in HK showed good availability

Doesn't include breakfast/upgrades/any other Virtuoso amenities, but if you're only staying 2 nights, the second one is free at the Pen Chicago now. This hotel also has some of the most generous corporate rates in the city, IME.

St. Regis Punta Mita

I realize the FS has been offering similar credits for awhile... but just booked 3 nights at the St. Regis Punta Mita on a "local flair package."

Rate Plan: LOCAL FLAIR PACKAGE
Rate Plan Description: Includes 300 USD Daily Credit applied at check out to food and beverage consumptions or spa treatments
620.00 in US DOLLARS per night

Room Description 1 King
Deluxe Suite Non-smoking, Beachfront, Jacuzzi, Personal St Regis Butler, Spacious Bathroom, 1140 Sqft Suite With Jacuzzi On Its Terrace Located On the Beach. Separate Living Area. Oversized Lcd

Deluxe Garden room is $445/night and also includes the $300/day credit, but for the Deluxe Beachfront jacuzzi suite (there are only 2 at the resort, and the rack rate is $3385/night), I think $620 (before the $300 credit) is a phenomenal deal, and I'm pretty sure this isn't their standard platinum upgrade.

If anyone's curious, taxes and service are huge at this hotel (and lots of other high end hotels in Mexico)... $620 translates to just under $800/night after all fees...

Estimated total for your stay**
1 room(s) for 3
night(s)
Room rate: USD 620.00 USD 1,860.00
Room rate excludes the following:
Lodging: USD 18.60 USD 55.80
3.00 % Per Room / Per Night
Value Added Tax: USD 99.20 USD 297.60
16.00 % Per Room / Per Night
Service Charge: USD 62.00 USD 186.00
10.00 % Per Room / Per Night
Estimated total**: USD 799.80 USD 2,399.40

if that is the rack rate, ignore it, lowest available is nowhere near that.

Agreed... and it's also higher than $620... best I could find was $877 for a AAA rate without a $300 credit... can you do better?

The difference with FS is that the Preferred Partner amenities are combinable with the $1234 credit for every four nights.

At the St. Regis, the $300 daily credit is NOT combinable with Virtuoso; however, summer rates at the St. Regis are very low.

Fair enough.

Not available with this package, from what I can tell, or maybe it's the limited amount of dates I checked. I couldn't even find a link to the Local Flair Package on the St. Regis website.

However, I did look at the Four Seasons, and the quality of room available for similar pricing was not in the same ballpark.

Clayoquot through sept 29

"free stay for up to two elders, aged 55 years or older, traveling with families of six or more"

doesnt say 4 other adults... so could be pretty cheap

base per person per nt by age

12+..$1431 > $1679
4-11...$333 > $530
0-3.....$121 > $283
