Hazelton has One, which is a new restaurant by Mark McEwan, a well known local chef.
Park Hyatt really doesn't have any restaurants that are notable; the Rooftop Bar was popular (well, among the over 30 crowd), but they have changed the configuration of the patio a bit, so it's not as good as it used to be. Rooms are completely bland.
Germain had a great Italian restaurant that has been replaced with something that isn't as good, but still better than most hotel options.
FS still has Truffles and Avenue - Truffles at one time was a pretty good restaurant, but there are lots of other options. Avenue is notable because there is a hilarious scene of sorts comprised of tourists, local ladies who lunch and the very occasional celebrity.
Nothing at the Fairmont worth noting.
The Soho Metropolitan has perhaps the best hotel restaurant, a place called Senses, but the hotel itself is blah.

I do agree with on the rooms of the PH being, "bland". They aren't bad, just lack in the decor department. The bi-level suites are cool (though they have a bit of "blandness"). When did they change the patio layout? The view can't be beat, and I've always like the "James Bond" decor/feel it has. Not a fan of Annona? Never ate there.
I know Truffles is more of an classic establishment in all aspects. I wonder how FS will handle the F&B in the new hotel.

Actually, I think the hotel is still very good, but the restaurant is no longer as good as it once was.

Never eaten there, although it's very close to my building. It's very popular with a certain market segment, particularly during TIFF season, but I've yet to see a favourable review from anyone with any appreciation for good food.

Soho tries hard as a hotel property, but I think it just never found its legs. Senses has declined in recent years (post Aprile and post move), but it is, I think, certainly up there as a very good hotel dining experience in the city.
Shangrila mentioned Annona in the PH - no real reason to go there unless to are staying in the hotel and want to eat onsite.

Sadly, Truffles Restaurant is closing as of September 5. This is not entirely surprising given that there has been a trend of hotel fine dining rooms closing and being reinvented (The Dining Room in Chicago (RC); Chartwell in Vancouver, Aujourd'hui in Boston) but sad nonetheless.

L’Atelier de Jol Robuchon - does NY really need another overpriced restaurant serving tapas-sized portions?
I'm looking forward to dinner at CUT this Friday evening. Anyone in Beverly Hills this Friday for drinks?

Never been to Truffles, but the dining room always look very "blah". I wonder with the new property coming in two years, if they are going to replace it or just wait. Really wouldn't make sense to spend the resources for restaurant make-over. YEW took over for Chartwell (Vancouver). Not sure what they're going to do in Boston.

[QUOTE=francophile;12309931]Hopefully FS will not touch Le Cinq. I had lunch there a few months ago and fewer than half the tables were occupied at 1:00pm.

There is no way FS will touch le Cinq. Lunch there does tend to be quieter than dinner as most people eat in La Galerie. I was at le Cinq recently and it was full and many of the diners were locals. Since Eric Briffard took over Le Cinq has done better than ever.
As for L'Atelier at FS NY, I really like this restaurant (which was also full when I stayed). I can cope with the size of the portions a lot better than I can cope with the average NY portion. I can also cope a lot better with the quality of the food.
