SK fast track security for *G at LHR - true or false?
I have LH*G. This year, I'm flying SK from LHR 3 or 4 times a month (usually LHROSL or LHRSVG). I normally travel in Extra.
At LHR SK check-in they tell you that *G gets you into the LHR T3 fast-track security when travelling SK (they said SK signed up for this a couple of months ago). At FT security access point, they say that is not true and stare blankly at you and try to turn you away, but I smile sweetly and they have actually let me through each time. Does anyone know what the rule ACTUALLY is? (I never have any problem as OSL - straight into that lovely FT security line with a cheery wave.) |
Ask CI to place a stamp on your BP.

I have passed through FT at LHR T3 5+ times since November 2007 in a number of different classes both alone and with wife and son - other than the staff taking a quick look at my card and BP I have not experienced any problems
|
Official rule is EBG/EBP only.

Are you sure EBG/EGP can still use FT at LHR. I have managed a couple of times since the change last year but recently been refused.
Looking at the table on http://www.sas.se/sv/allt-om-resan/G...ng/Fast-Track/ it says Business only from LHR. |

Thanks for all the info. It seems that this particular rule is not uniformly defined.
It looks like I need to pretend to be a Finn. Kiitos. |
Yes, positive. EBG and EBP can use Fast Track. Any problems come back and ask for the Supervisor at check in and we'll sort it out.

Strange.
I posted a question via email to SAS yesterday. Today they came back saying I need C ticket to use FT at LHR, EBG does not help. |

Like our insider SKmanLHR says, I thought EBGs and EBPs now were able to use the fast track at LHR as well as C pax?
We all know this is not the first time there is conflicting info on different SAS web pages.. Let me take this up with SAS and make sure we get the rules straight. If indeed EBGs and EBPs are welcome to use the fast track, I will make sure LHR gets the message. |
I'm sorry, but where is the problem?
You have a SK staff member at LHR who says EBG/EBP is allowed to use Fast Track. It is also clearly stated on SAS websites, that from 1st December 2007 EBG/EBP can use fasttrack when flying on SAS operated aircraft: http://www.flysas.com/en/EuroBonus/L..._Gold_members/ http://www.flysas.com/en/Travel_info/SAS-Fast-Track/ I've used it without any problems about ten times this year - just show my M boarding pass and by EBG card... Not a single question asked. |

Just talked to Eurobonus. EBGs and EBPs are absolutely welcome to use the fast track. The LHR station will get a special message later this week on the current rules

There are clearly discrepancies between different web sites. The SE site still does not allow EBG to use fast track at LHR. And the person answering the e-mails probably checked the SE site and answered based on that. These are helpdesk persons, they don't have experience of all the airports etc. Give them proper information to begin with. So if SAS/Eurobonus could ensure that the websites are updated correctly and are similar between versions then a giant step is taken. And how much I like to discredit SAS IT this is not their fault. The IT-department should not own the information. |
