Upgrade with points to/from NRT
Wondering what the average loads are on 983 / 984 during the winter (October to March, not including Christmas). In general, is it (a) easy, (b) difficult or (c) impossible to get an upgrade to C by using points?

September and October are pretty heavy, some major conferences scheduled just after the summer season. November your chances are much better and will stay good till early/mid march (excluding christmas).

In general quite a few high yield pax to NRT and 983/984 tends to fill out but my impression is that is not impossible.
