You're right - I didn't think you could use the points on the reward trip upgrade... Good deal

I don't believe that upgrades are allowed on award travel.

You could always get a cheap connecting PEK-ICN flight and skip Beijing totally

My wife and I were actually going to Alaska this summer on an award flight. We are considering going to China instead. 15K from the US is amazing!!

Sorry, only seems to be valid from/to Scandinavia/Finland according to the rules:

Valid from/to any destination that Blue1, SAS & SAS Braathens operates within Finland/Scandinavia to Beijing
I guess I'll have to stay up for another 1 hour and 20 minutes... Nice surprise for Ms Point_Chaser!

Valid from UK anyway!
Very very limited availability though... Mostly mid-week flights!

Works from everywhere in Europe, but not from the US...

http://www.flysas.com/en/us/Promotio...-Summer-Offer/

This offer could get us to ARN for 600 bucks r/t all in pr. person, so free because of my 800 Euro voucher, and there was plenty of availability ARN-PEK...

But the wife said NO to 4 long flights in SAS Economy

PEK in the summer is not really my cup of tea anyway.

Until 20th of June I get availability on midweek flights, but after that nothing. I thought that they had plenty of availability to be offering such a deal. Well, you cannot always win. Theres still plenty of opportunities to celebrate with us.

Jsses! They do seem to be steadily increasing the quality of the offers. Wonder what the final anniversary deal will be...

Well, I booked one...

Finally, I was able to login and search for availability.

Nowhere did I see that the T&Cs were different from an ordinary redemption booking, so I guess I can still cancel.

Total price: 389 NOK
