Quite good. But only giving Platinum to Pandion is a bit cheap. Last time I checked both my AF/KL Flying Blue Platinum and LH SEN cards give me Platinum, all cards reasonably in the same range to get.

I may have to say that all cards are not in the same range for German residents.
SK*G comes for just 45k points whilst LH*G needs to earn 130k miles.

What is the key difference between Sixt platinium and Gold?

From Sixt web pages http://www.e-sixt.com/common/all/doc...ex.php?lang=en

Sixt Express Card
  • No more time-consuming rental formalities and procedures.
  • No more queuing at the counter.
  • Earn bonus points or miles with every rental.
  • Rent via the Internet, phone, Sixt Quick Check-in or at a CarExpress terminal.
  • More information.
  • 24-hour service.
  • Top quality car range – from economy to luxury.
  • Attractive Self Service tariffs or preload of your company tariff.
  • Payment with credit card
  • 5% discount on Holiday Cars* when booked direct.
  • Sixt Leasing: 10.000 Lufthansa miles and special conditions on every completed private leasing contract.

Sixt Gold Card
  • 25% discount on all discountable rates or the Sixt corporate rate.
  • 15% discount on Holiday Cars* when booked direct.
  • 20% discount on Sixt limousine service in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, 10 % discount in other foreign countries
  • Mobility guaranteed: Forgot your reservation?
  • No problem: You will always get a rental car from Sixt if it is reserved up to 12 hours before your rental start time.

Sixt Platinum Card
  • Upgrade to the next higher car group (subject to availability).
  • Fast Lane for privileges and fast service at all airports.
  • 35% discount on all discountable rates or the Sixt corporate rate.
  • 20% discount on Holiday Cars* when booked direct.
  • 20% discount on Sixt limousine service in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, 10 % discount in other foreign countries
  • Mobility guaranteed: Forgot your reservation?
  • No problem: You will always get a rental car from Sixt if you call us up to 5 hours before your rental start time.

And then there was a thread recently regarding if American Express Centurion DE should get the Sixt Diamond Card (not listed in the Sixt web pages) and general opinion was that it doesn't offer anything special (generally just 40% discount instead of 35%). Platinum already basically gets a very nice service.

Or 70K and 100K in Sweden... I agree though that SEN is harder work to get than EBG -- but you get it for two years. As for Sixt, even the AF/KL Gold Elite card (30 segments to get, any class) gives you Platinum...

So bigger KL/AF is more interesting partner for Sixt than smaller SK? Anything new in this? This just shows that as long as SK is staying small, they cannot make any really interesting deals with partners.

"EuroBonus Pandion members are entitled to receive the Sixt Platinum Card." is not too genrous as some already mentioned.

Today I had an opportunity to read through e-sixt.com and discovered that My HHonors Diamond entitles me to Sixt Platinium Card ^ Ill give it a try and maybe start renting from Sixt, too.

No EB points credited for Sixt car rental

Has anybody ever got any EB points credited for Sixt car rental? If yes, how much time did it take?

Well, Sixt seems to handle this the hard way. Crediting miles for Sixt rentals to HHonots NEVER works automatically for me, faxing the car rental bill is the only way. Perhaps its the same with EB

Received Seasons today, and included with the statement was an offer for a Sixt Platinum card for EBG members. I guess they changed the rules?

Has anyone had points for Sixt-rentals credited to their EB account yet?

Cheers

I haven't got Sixt rentals credited to my EB account. For the first rental, I sent a claim form already. There are threads around and a common understanding is that Sixt credits points/miles the hard way, i.e. in most cases it is manual retro registration.

I rented a car over Easter period in CPH and the rental 500 points have already been credited to my EB account! ^

I haven't received points for January Sixt car rental still. I sent a copy of my bill once again via e-mail yesterday.

Did you rent more than 3 days over Easter? If so you should have received 1500 points... Special offer at the moment (01APR07-31JUL07). You can see more on the 15th Aniversary site: http://projects.musicbay.se/kaplan/sas/offer.php?ID=6

Funny thing is that SIXT is not included on the SAS homepage for Booking rental cars. Only AVIS, HERTZ and Holiday Autos.

I rented just for 2 days and thus got 500 points as expected.
