SE-RSI just taxied out towards NWI 09 as SVS9150, possibly bound for Copenhagen.

It did fly to Copenhagen, and interestingly enough landed on runway 30. I wonder if that was for the photo op with the bridge or the weather was unusual yesterday?

Caught one by accident this morning flying CPH-ARN coming back. Much better than the CRJs. The plan for these planes is just CPH feeding?

Yes, feeding CPH for now. Only routine night stop away from CPH is in Bergen. Two more will come to make a fleet of six.

The 18th A320neo for SAS Connect, EI-SIS had it's entry into service today, 12 October 2022, with a roundtrip ARN-MAN and ARN-LHR (from where it will bring me home to Sweden, doubtless without any wifi.).

4 more remain on order: MSN 10990 EI-SIR, MSN 11043 EI-SIU, MSN 11168 EI-SIX and MSN 11206 EI-SI?.

I noticed that, this week, my usual milk-run UME-ARN has switched from Xfly (most of the summer and most weekends) and SAS mainline to SAS Connect. Looking through FlightRadar almost all flights to/from UME and LLA this week are on EI- registered aircraft.

(This wouldn't have been so noticable except on Sunday evening I boarded behind two unaccompanied minors who were warmly greeted in English by the British chief purser... and who could not understand what he was saying. While my recent SAS Connect flights have tended to have at least one Scandi-lanaguage-speaker on board, it seems a bit odd that the purser didn't.)

I like the Connect staff much more than the legacy SAS staff. I'm sure someone could translate for them?
Nick Art and Tomas E like this.

My mood always rises when the flight is operated by a good Connect crew. Their enthusiasm is contagious.

E195 SE-RSL (formerly G-FBEH) has just appeared on FlightRadar24 at NWI, and appears to be heading to CPH tonight as SVS9150. This is the fifth E195 for SAS Link.

EI-SIR, the 19th A320neo for SAS Connect and the 56th A320 for SAS has just appeared on FlightRadar24 in Hamburg, apparently preparing for its delivery flight to CPH.

Correction, that was just a pre-flight test. It's currently en route from XFW to ARN as SK9150. Link: https://fr24.com/SZS9150/2e4c9d81

A321-232 OY-KBL has emerged from storage in Oslo to take a proving flight SK9271 north-east over northern Sweden this afternoon.

PlaneSpotters.net has recorded it stored in CPH March - November 2020, MAD Nov 2020 - April 2022 and then Oslo.

I’ve just boarded A320-232 OY-KAY for SK24 ARN-UME and noticed from the SAS app and the decal adjacent to door L1 that the plane is now operated by SAS Connect, instead of “mainline” SAS. This is the first time I’ve seen an a/c transferred from mainline SAS to SAS Connect without also being on the EI- register.

Airfleets doesn’t yet reflect this change: https://www.airfleets.net/ficheapp/plane-a320-2856.htm

Two deliveries have been reported via Skyliner.

Airbus A320-251neo EI-SIX delivered to ARN for SAS Connect 9/3/2023.

(Edit: EIS 13/3/2023 on SK34/35 ARN-UME-ARN)

Embraer 195LR SE-RSP (formerly EC-LIN with Air Europa Express) delivered to CPH for SAS Link 12/3/2023.
