To start building datapoints.

EBD - BRU-CPH; min bid 5000, bid and accepted at check-in open. You could adjust up until that time which is an improvement over old system.

New data point: Bid of 250 euro - OSL - FRA, declined 24hs before departure (with 9 (!) seats still available).

Curious if I can do a cash upgrade at the airport?

SK2751 Feb 16, 2022 2:04 pm

250 EUR for European short-haul was rejected? Seems very expensive??? I usually did not pay more than 500DKK - did not consider anything more expensive, worth the money... granted that OSL-FRA is a bit longer than I usually do, but not excessively so.

Sounds like SAS has hired
the same stupid consults as Finnair…

250 EUR for a ...... meal and a front row seat but the same terrible service as in coach?

gojko88 Feb 22, 2022 6:26 am

Not sure if a couple of cold cuts really qualify as a meal.

dodgeflyer Mar 3, 2022 6:58 am

BRU-OSl, min bid NOK490 or 5000 points.

If EBD, that's 490 for a salad + 500 additional points. Hard pass when seat blocking already in place.

SK2751 Mar 4, 2022 11:37 am

Yes the price looks familiar, but it used to be for a salad and almost 1800 points.

SuperFlyBoy Mar 22, 2022 8:49 am

Sorry if this is the wrong thread, but does upgrading with EB points still exist?

oliver2002 Mar 22, 2022 8:51 am

Yes, you can upgrade with points or bid with points.

Thanks, but where can one see the upgrade with fixed points list/chart?

oliver2002 Mar 22, 2022 9:04 am

There is the option to upgrade at the airport:

And in advance: (its hidden in the *A upgrades)

Any idea of the minimum bid on EWR-OSL under the new regime, both to Plus and Business?

Shaetan Jun 1, 2022 6:21 am

Does a successful bid reticket into a new fare class (and does it depend on if the bid is made with $ or points)? Asking with respect to PQP accrual on United.
