We should just get new numbers, and they should be mapped back to Gold. I understand that other airlines will still display SK*G for Diamonds, as there is no level above gold in *A.
For them to understand that your level equals *A gold, they must be able to understand the prefix EBD.

Not accurate. The partner airlines use SK followed just by the Eurobonus account numbers. That number is then queried against a database which indicates what Star status level the customer has.

In many circumstances yes, but not in all. Therefore [what I said earlier].

Additionally, I am unsure whether or not the EB-status (EBB/EBS/EBG/EBD/EBP) is returned, or just the *A status level.

And I am looking at my EBD Smart-pass Though the EB number is still EBG due to tecnical issues. (would have posted a "snap" but can see it's not "allowed" to post attachments/pics)

Perhaps they must do that -- I am not questioning reality. I am just saying that this sounds like an incredibly bad design, if they had to.

do you need another account than your eurobonus one to log in and vote? No intention of logging in with facebook.

You have to create a new login, it is not the EB login. Just use a throw away mail
