Hi, I will hit Diamond next month.
Im interested in this, but other than the headphones? seem like the gifts are for Scandinavian residents?
Also i do agree that more "flying" perks would be greatly appreciated. I was recently on a flight CPH-NRT and half business was empty, as it often is, and no op upgrades....and my optiontown one didn't come through either.

None for you, or for everybody on the flight? Last time I flew CPH-IAD in business, a several Pandion-members got invited to sit in Business just before pushback. As 'just' a gold member, you usually end up quite far down on the list.

Did anyone bother making a sasidea entry for more flying perks instead of the current charade of nonsense? If it would be referenced here we could all vote on it right away and force SAS to pay attention.

I have made that idea and awaits it for SAS to approve so it is public. I will share the link as soon as SAS have done so.

Then please file an idea first that states that SAS should listen to it's customers and to the suggestions on MySASIdea...

Well, I can pick one gift this period, up until May 31st and then a new one on June 1st, so this leaves me with only one gift ...

There are only 2 options for Norwegians, the two cards, both useless when you have AMEX and their Concergie service. Headphones are sold out, I received the email the other day, logged in 2 hours after receiving it - and all gone, my period ends in May, and they say; "too bad", when I asked for a pre-order so I can get it before my Diamond status expires. Rubbish.
Ed: Wrote a "complaint" on SK's Facebook page.

Well you can sell the card again on www.finn.no. I am sure you will give a couple thousand or hundred back?

I'm in fact glad to see someone make useful suggestions as to how to get something useful from SAS's Diamond benefits as SAS obviously can't figure it out. It is up to said website to interpret their rules and deem it ok or not ok.

Well, it seems that selling the Gold card won't be an option on Finn. There may be other web sites though... And I'd expect at least a few thousand kroner for such a card!
Please do tell it's also valid outside SAS, otherwise people might think it's just a worthless card with a crappy airline.
And for the goodie bag: it's nice that SAS tries to add benefits to Diamond, but I actually would like to have a different kind of benefit: typical airline benefits, for example. So far the whole goodie bag is useless to me, as it's sold out, not applicable or already something I have. It's too bad really...
If they gave away 2 vouchers for long haul upgrades to business class (or 4 for eco extra) instead (or as option in the goodie bag), I'd be very, very happy - and it's probably the cheapest for SAS as well, I think, as it may mean that people'd buy more long haul flights with them...
Or serve a (non-alcoholic) drink with a light snack of choice free of charge in Go to anyone with a valid Diamond card would also be a very nice benefit and still it won't cost SAS a thing: it'd only show off the benefits of being Diamond to other passengers. Who knows - it may inspire them...
A special hotline for Diamonds with additional benefits would also have been nice.
ps. Does anyone know how many EB Diamonds SAS currently has? And does anyone actually have gotten all the Diamond card yet? (ff card, phone sticker, credit card, luggage tag)? I got the phone sticker recently, still waiting for the rest (after many weeks).
