I got baggage tags, credit card, and Eurobonus card. No phone sticker for, as my base is Japan.

The complaint which led to the suggestion of selling advantage cards on finn.no was my and others' complaint about the extremely meager choice of items in the "goodie bag": two different advantage cards and a yearly pass for an amusement park in Oslo. I understood the point about finn.no as being about selling the advantage cards (a restaurant card and a concierge card) on finn.no.

I did get both Bagage Tags and Phone Tag together in a standard letter from SAS - but not fine fancy welcome package.
It took over 1 month to get it from my qualification period started.
So they most likely have a big delay - so the EBD must have arrived as a big surprise for SAS.

For what concerns the EBG-prefix: It will still be used for another year or so for diamond members. This is as it cannot be used untill all the systems of the other *A carriers have been updated to recognize the prefix in the number. This is, as you maybe can understand, a very time consuimg proccess.
Are you sure it wasn't saying padion?
I have seen some diamond smartpass-tags on phones, but most diamond members report recieving smartpasses saying gold.

It sounds unbelievable to me that this is implemented in such a way that any changes in numbering of any member airline requires reimplementation in all of them. After all when you get a new number, all airlines almost immediately know what is your status. It should not require changes in the system. We should just get new numbers, and they should be mapped back to Gold. I understand that other airlines will still display SK*G for Diamonds, as there is no level above gold in *A.
