The traffic in the SK forum will be much lower now that we don't have her to complain and ask about any longer.

The information I got on a trip to Tokyo a couple of weeks ago was end August, but a month more or less doesn't really matter. The important news IMHO is the replacement A330 is very close to delivery and once it arrives we will probably not see the old lady in the air much.

BTW. I was quite happy with my LN-RKP flight today. Perhaps because I fly long haul relatively little (once a year?), and uniformly Y-, except a random op-up (last one 10 years ago) or a Y+ personal trip. I found the cabin to be entirely OK .I flown older BA machines not long ago, and more used up LH/UA machines a few years back. The cabin was half empty, there was lots of space to stretch and walk, not much chatter (we were 5 people in the mini-cabin). The seat was sufficiently comfortable and I did take a very good nap. What else do you want? Frankly, I would have been more excited to fly the new cabin, but this one was fine too. I see no reason to ask for refund of the upgrade. In fact, I would have been probably much more annoyed if I was *not* upgraded. I suspect that the Y/Y+ trip in this lady is considerably more problematic than a C trip.

Dear all,
I have one quick question. I will be flying tomorrow on this dear old flight in business. Do I have any chance to get some Eurobonus points if I complain since it in an old cabin?

There is another tread where someone claimed he got a full refund of the upgrade bid when he complained. I'm not so sure it's true, but there are multiple reports where people have gotten some EB points when they complained about the missing internet and the rundown cabin in the old lady.

I don't know. The return flight from FRA was fully booked on ECO and 50% in PLUS, which included the bizz seats too on this flight. That's around 200 pax. An A321 can handle this, but the flight is normally operated with with an A319 or A320 which only takes 150-180 pax's.
Edit: ln-rkk (A321) has been stuck in ARN since early morning June 13 after performing SK400. The return flight SK401 was delayed almost 2 hours and carried out by an A320. OY-KBE has been in LJU for over a month. Probably C or D check. So looks like they are low on A321 capacity.

Was on SK676 and talked to one of the crew members. Seems like they didn't have anything else available. The delay almost ended up costing me my connection. Almost
But an incredible experience flying on an A343 within Europe. And in contrast to the onward flight to EWR, on the short route (with less fuel and luggage on board) it's not just the curvature of the earth that makes an A343 take off.

Flying on SK901 on Saturday 6th of July and it is LN-RKP doing the run as per the seatmap ...
What is annoying is that SAS is acting like this plane does not exist or is just a reserve plane when it is a sub-standard product being a clear part of their normal fleet for the last few years ...
