The SFO Airtrain system seems like it's been a great success to me. Same for SFO, generally, since I first arrived here in 1990. Hats off to their planners over these decades. May they get the credit they're due.

Blue Line Closed
All weekend the Blue Line has been closed, with Red Line running out to Long Term Parking. Great for getting to the GH, not so great for getting from the GH.
Supposedly they are running a very complicated schedule beginning today. See link: https://www.flysfo.com/flight-info/a...e-all-stations

This morning the Blue Line was still not running. There was a shuttle bus from GH to the terminals. The driver ignored my request to stop at T2, which killed any opportunity to go to MLL or CL prior to our E gates departure.

however, the link you provided shows as page not available, and not seeing anything on SFO site, home page or alerts, about anything different than normal - just the reference to the closed T3 station, which doesnt bother me as we can just clear at T2 anyway (preferable due to MLL). Is there a different schedule or routing right now to/from LTP)? We are expecting the airport itself to be very busy due to all the extra visitors this weekend - though assuming outbound traffic to be relatively normal or maybe even a little bit quiet.

trying to look into this. We are flying out (thankfully out) next Friday and this time opted for LTP (we often use ParkSFO).

AirTrain page on SFO website
As a reminder, the Blue Line runs counterclockwise and goes all the way out to Long Term Parking, taking about 25 minutes for a full circuit. The much shorter Red Line runs clockwise and stays in a simple 9-minute loop within the five terminals, two international garages, and Grand Hyatt.

Due to routine maintenance being performed on the AirTrain system between the hours of 11pm and 5am each night the AirTrain may be operating differently than normal and travel times may be extended. If you plan to use AirTrain during this period, please add additional travel time and pay close attention to all AirTrain signs and messages.
