Accommodation in SF or suburb
I am looking for hotels/ Airbnb in SF or nearby areas in July, it seems everywhere is so expensive. I’m happy to pay up to Ł400 per night, but still struggle to find anything decent for us (2adults+1child). The best I can find is Cavallo Point at Sausalito, a two-bedroom suite for Ł500 a night. Maybe I should have booked our trip a bit earlier, rather than at the peak holiday season! Any suggestions would be appreciated!!
Thanks.
Thanks.

Welcome to San Francisco
If your itinerary is set in stone and there's no chance of canceling, it looks like Hotwire has some 4 and 5 stars in your budget.
If you need help with determining good and bad neighborhoods of SF, there's plenty of people here that can help you.

I did a search on kayak for many dates in July and while the second week of July seems to be the highest prices, there still rooms available for under $400 in a couple of Hilton’s and did a couple of joie de vivre properties. Do you need a two room suite – that may be the dealbreaker in terms of cost. But to the Hilton is her double rooms for under 300 for most of the weeks in under 400 for the second week of July
