As I've said in another Board, if you are already suscribed with Vonage, you should check if they'll RAISE THE RATE of your plan:

The Classic "NLIMITED" (up to 5,000 minutes/month in reality) plan was $24.99 + taxes/fees per month is now $34.99 + taxes / fees per month...

The LIMITED plan (500 minutes/month) was $14.99 + taxes / fees, now is $17.99 + taxes / fees per month.

If you're already paying into the former $14.99 or 24.99 rates you'll have to check with Vonage's CSR's if they'll raise the rate of your actual plan. The only option to keep the $24.99 rate MIGHT (have to be verified) be changing to the new plan...

If you do a lot of international calls from USA it might be beneficial to switch plans if the country and the phone you're calling is within the ones included with the monthly rate...

They did not raise my "unlimited" rate of $24.99. At any rate, company officials were quoted as saying existing customers could change from that plan to the new $24.99 world plan. You can call or you can do so online. There's no reason not to switch from the old to new - the monthly cost is identical but the country list increases by a factor of ten and transcribed voicemail is included.

I was able to change online the day after it was announced. Works perfectly for me when I need to contact my teammates in India. A half dozen countries on the list also include calls to mobile phones and India's on that list.

No one even signed up under my 1st link. Vonage must not be that popular on here.
