Not sure what a flexperk is.
I am right at $100, and I am going to apply mine to HHonors points. If AA was a partner it would go there. It is not bad. 20,000 points get's you $400 in "ticket cash" to buy any airline ticket you want. so you can value each point at up to 2 cents each so the $100 e-reward could mean $40 this way. Thanks for the input everyone just great to look outside the box!^^^ |
How to enroll
Interested in the possible US air grand slam this year. Went to the site and it I didn't see anything for new enrollments. Thanks in advance.

Moving to SPAM forum where there is an existing e-rewards thread.

I didn't know about the Flexperk option. That could come in handy.

The Hertz redemption is pretty darn good if you rent cars.

I always transfer them into Priority Club points. $100 for 4,000 points doesn't sound quite as good as 7,000 hilton points but when you consider PC's 5,000-point PointBreak opportunities, those 4,000 points could potentially be just 1,000 points away from a night in an Intercontinental. Hilton can't compete with that. Of course everyone has their own immediate or personal needs but as far as a straight conversion value I think Priority Club's PointBreak nights can give you about the best actual $-value from your e-rewards dollars.
Besides all that, you can easily PURCHASE 5,000 PC points for a mere $30 cash (as part of a points and cash redemption/reservation, which you can then cancel and retain the points).* When you consider how VERY easy and VERY cheap it is to get those PC points by other means, maybe the redemption of $100 in e-rewards currency for only 4,000 of them (not even 5,000!) doesn't seem quite so attractive after all. @:-) * OK, now you have to pay $60 cash for 10,000 points, or else $40 for 5,000 points. |

It all depends on whether US Airways' Grand Slam promo is of interest to you (and, of course, whether they have it this year.) Transfers from e-Rewards count as a "hit." So, if US Airways is on your list, $25 would get you one "hit." $100 would be enough to get 7,000 Hhonors points. 10,000 Hhonors points is another "hit." So, if you have US Air on your list, and can work on getting to $125, you have potentially 2 "hits" working, which can mean 10,000 US Airways miles in that promo.

e-rewards account for multiple airline or hotel programs?
I haven't used e-rewards in years, essentially I stopped using it and closed my account once I could no longer get points/miles for multiple programs. The account I was using became restricted to only one airline. Then I realized that I had an old account that wasn't affiliated with a specific airline sponsor, so I kept that one and cancelled the old one. The problem was that I never got any e-rewards offers at the new account. Eventually I forgot about it. Now if I try to log in I get an error stating that the account has been deactivated (although interestingly, I just searched my inbox and I see that I received a new survey earlier this month (the first one in years)).
So I'm wondering if there are e-rewards accounts out there that allow rewards for multiple airlines or hotels. I've recently received invitations from Hilton and Delta. |
If you receive an invitation from a hotel program, you'll have all the airlines and only that hotel program. If you receive from an airline, you'll have only that airline and all hotel programs. If you receive from something that is not a hotel or airline (like Blockbuster or Hertz), you'll have access to any program.
An exception is British Airways, they allow access only to their program. |

E-Miles also has eRewards as one of their 5 point clicks right now, so that's a back-door sign-up method. In theory, you get 100 E-Miles points once you do your first eR survey.
