Yes, it has been a few weeks. I haven't contacted custome service because they ask for the link in your email, or your account history. Because it was tacked onto the end of another survey, I don't have a link.

I just got one that led me to sign up for a site called "My Money, My Voice". Apparently it is some kind of opinion forum where you get a few dollars in Amazon certificates for more of a free-style contribution to topics similar to that on e-rewards. Anyone else get this and/or know anything about this other site? I think the survey was labeled "Study About Consumers" and paid $4 e-rewards money for 15 minutes.

Today I received an survey entry about cell phone commercials. After replying to some questions, I was asked to view a commercial. After viewing, I was asked to view it a second time. After it completed the second run, my browser froze and I was unable to unfreeze it. I killed the browser (Firefox, newest version) and reopened, but when I tried to access the survey again, I was told:

"You have paused your interview before it was completed.

Unfortunately, this survey can only be accessed one time."

I'm a little ticked that their programming error caused me to waste 5 minutes of my time and lose out on $6.50 in e-Rewards. I would have gotten to $100 with it.

If you get this survey, it might be better to try it with IE.

I received a reply from e-Rewards Member Services:

"Thank you for contacting e-Rewards. We apologize for the difficulties you encountered with the study. Please be aware that our Web site works best with Netscape, Internet Explorer and AOL browsers, version 5.0 or higher. To access data securely and to fully participate in the e-Rewards program, please be sure that both the session and permanent cookies are enabled."

Seems like they're implying that it was a setup error on my side, even though I told them I was using the latest version of Firefox. Yes, cookies are enabled, and I've been doing plenty of their surveys recently with no problem. I guess they're not going to bother to check out the error.

Contact them anyway, with the ID of the survey onto which the other one was tacked!!!

Somebody should tell them that

AOL officially announced that support for Netscape Navigator would end on March 1, 2008
on topic, how sad is this:

Need only 65 points to be able to redeem, yet nothing came through for about 6 weeks now. I think if there are no emails by 01NOV and all those points expire, I might as well cancel it...

jms_uk,

I had a decent amount of eRewards $ (US program) that were to expire earlier this year and for whatever reason -- and without any request or prompting from me -- eRewards sent me an email stating that none of my eRewards $ would expire this year. I had originally signed up through American Airlines many years ago and I recall being offered special redemption choices after AA left eRewards, so I suppose that could have been the reason, but that has been some time ago.

In any event, if you don't get a chance to earn any points before the expiration date, you might consider contacting eRewards and asking if they could waive the expiration date for this calendar year since you're so close to a redemption level (at least I assume that you are -- I'm not familiar with the non-US program). Good luck.

Thank you - I will get in touch with them.

Yes, I am 65 points away from redemption, equivalent to a short(ish) survey.

I've had the expiration waived without any communication with e-rewards (and was not an AA member).
65 points are 2 to 3 non-qualifying surveys, so it may be a long wait to get them (non-US members get much less surveys I think).

I have a feeling this might be a case.

On my last non-qualifying survey I got 75 points, so I am hoping one more should suffice. Or two :)

Got an email tonight, got half way through, there was a problematic screen, continued, they thanked me and got partial points.

Current balance:

5 points short -

Sent an email to customer services, especially about the error, I hope things get sorted out...

I am desparate to get an e-rewards invitation in order to get one hit for US Airways Grand Slam 2010. Anyone knows how to get one? Thanks

calliecat Oct 31, 2010 8:32 am

I never seem to qualify for the big bucks.....all I get is a "sorry".
What am I doing wrong? Maybe I should "fudge" some answers?;)

If you had read more of this thread, you would realize that fudging your answers could lead to your getting FEWER or even NO surveys!

In other words, there is some sort of consistency checking being done. Of course, there are also posters who claim that they have gotten away with all sorts of lies. The consistency checking obviously isn't perfect, but it's probably in the process of being improved.

Logged in today to find out that expiry date has been changed to 01NOV11 ^

vickiburton Nov 4, 2010 5:28 pm

I haven't received an invitation in what seems to be months. I'm stuck on $3 and have no hope of getting enough to redeem before 3/31.
