Thread used for Chili's coupons (new master thread)

I was at Chili's this weekend and saw people use a coupon for a free Guiltless menu entree. That's a pretty valuable coupon as it could be used for a grilled steak entree.

Looks like a lot of people got them from bzzagent.com, which apparently is a site where they send you coupons to test stuff and you are supposed to spread the good word.

Edited to add: You can also sign up for the Chili's mailing list and get a coupon for free chips and queso here.

Buzzagent looks like another site to sign up. Does anyone have experience with Buzzagent? I don't want to be sawmped with unwanted emails.

Bzzagents Earning Mypoints

One correction, it's Bzzagent.

I've been a BzzAgent for more than a year and never received any spam from them. So far, I've got some goodie to use for free (for example, Philips Sonicare Toothbrush & Glade flameless candles) and some good coupons (such as free Silk Soymilk and Chili's Guiltless entree). I only wish they would send more invites to sign up for campaigns.

Campaign invites are sent when they find things (they think) that fit your profiles. Some got invites for pets products when owning no pet. Go figures! There's no guarantee how often you get invites, just like e-Rewards. Most campaigns are free and some offer discount to buy target products (such as this one). I was not in the market but I got a special discount code to purchase a Dodge Ram 1500 last November. I've never got invite for cosmetics campaigns (don't know why). Depending on your Bzzagent level, you may get some special campaigns or early invites. When you earn gold keys, they'll offer you opportunities to use them on valuable campaigns. I am currently a Level-6 agent myself. Not bad! You can progress to higher level by the activities you take part in. such as filling out surveys and bzzing frogponds (other recommended websites/blogs).

Agents are expected to write at least 2 Bzz Reports per campaign. You can either accept or turn down the campaign invites. So far, I've turned down all the campaigns that asked for money from me, like the gaming system, DNA family tree, and a Microsoft discounted product.

Campaigns are definitely slowing down in the last 10 months. Not as many campaign invites are sent. You can't request invites when you don't receive any. And you don't know when nor what campaigns they'll invite you into.

The site actually restructured their reward/point system last Spring. Agents used to redeem points for free rewards, which were hard to get. I was able to grab a free toaster before they switched to Mypoints system. Now you get Mypoints when filling out Bzz Reports (50 Mypoints), Post-Campaign Surveys (30 Mypoints), Qucik Surveys (3 Mypoints). Those points are posted to your Mypoints account within 7-10 days automatically. Mypoints reward works for me since I've been with Mypoints for a looong time.

ChaseTheMiles, if you like, email me your email that you want to use for Bzzagent so I can send you a referral. If you include your name & mailing address, I will send you one Chili's coupon (I still have one to spare ). I don't think I get any bonus for successful agent referral but I guess it may be easier for your agent application to be accepted.

There's no point to start a conga on this since there's no bonus involved. You can learn more about being a Bzzagent here or go to SD and search for the Bzzagent thread. If our fellow FTers want to become an agent and need a referral, shoot me an email and tell me which email address you want to use. I am not a FT Premium subscriber so please don't PM me for the Bzzagent invite. My PM box doesn't have much space left. Many thanks!

Thanks, lin821, you've got PM.

btw, everyone, go out to your favorite restaurant even if you just order something inexpensive. These restaurants need your business to stay open. Chili's just closed 35 restaurants around the country including some in the DFW area. Locally, many independent restaurants are closing fast too.

It's a tough environment out there...especially for the independants.

Blatant data mining, then the fine print: "One or more entree purchases required".

I don't know if it's targeted or not but after signing up for chips and queso offer for Swagbucks, I was offered a free appetizer coupon for filling in the last four digits of my credit card. Good deal considering I was able to get an $11 appetizer for free. I think they're using the credit card to "track" people and find out more about what they're eating and so on.

They also were offering the chips and queso coupon for people who "checked in" to a Chili's via Foursquare.

It offered me additional discounts for entering last name and last four digits of my credit card, but I did not get any additional coupons.
