I guess it may be a good idea to start a food-related samples master thread.

This is on the freebies forum of slickdeals.net and posters there say it is a phishing scam.

I found this offer yesterday from Startsampling, instead of SD.

I always receive the free samples I order through Startsampling. Startsampling hasn't been a spammer to me over the years. Based on my past experiences with Startsampling, I assumed and believed this offer was real when I posted it yesterday.

After reading your post, I found the SD thread. There are indeed some good arguments in that thread. I don't have solid evidence to say if this is a spam or not (yet). Folks can read the SD thread and check out Startsamping as well.

Thanks for the headsup though.

Nevertheless, a food related master thread should make SPAM forum less cluttered. I had received some good freebie in the last couple of months (Knorr, cereal sample, protein bar...etc). A complied thread should make things easier for everybody.
