Hi guys,
one question, points.com seems to be down?
i just checked the whois and the domain is pending and waiting for renewal.
is this for real? how can something like this happen ?

Yeah, someone will lose their job over it!
It's like forgetting to renew your lease on a prime real estate location. For a DotCom company that relies so much on their domain name and reputation, this is a huge blow to them.
They'll get it back pretty quickly once they realise and negotiate with Network Solutions (my bet is within 6 hours), but it just doesn't look good. Especially since they reported record revenue just yesterday!

Points.com is now back online! Perhaps it was down for maintenance in the dead of the USA night! All the above posts were made just after 4AM New York time/ 1 AM Calif. time!
