Oh come on...

Attachment 23636

My entries consisted of a few AMOE snuck in at the beginning of the promo, ~10 caps over the last week or so, and I ran out the rest of my entries with AMOE just now. Net winnings: 2x100 points, all from caps.

In case anyone's wondering, I did not type in the H at the beginning and it still accepted it :D

I got another one with the same blue H on it maybe 10-12 entries later.

The "H" indicates it's a stop (bus stop usually) Probably doesn't register with Captcha.

Could somebody post the link to the AMOE, when I open it from their website it just loops back to the main page

I wonder how much "slop" their algorithms allow for. There are other cases of prefixes/icon letters etc. where it's sort of ambiguous whether it's part of the word or not and either my intuition about when to omit them is eerily accurate or the programming is pretty liberal.

One of the get-paid-to web sites had a 'task' a few years back that was entering capcha codes, presumably to see how badly the graphics could be and users could still successfully enter them. I think I figured out you could get two typos for that capcha type and still have it credit properly.

So there's a little bit of user error accounted for in a successful capcha code in many cases.

What a waste of time .... 40 entries over several days .... nothing .... nada .... won nothing ....

icurhere2 Dec 25, 2016 9:22 am

Just burned the 40 AMOE while working -- 10 points, Shutterfly code, 100 points.

MCR 2017 started 12/21/2016

It appears MCR 2016 had ended early and MCR 2017 have already started one week early. In light of this change, following change might occur in the coming week:

In previous years, 75 point weekly code entry maximum was reset on 1/1, however in light of the above change, there might not be a reset and a single day 75 point limit day on 1/1.

Point depreciation via increased point redemption requirement may occur beginning on or after 1/1. Not known if this will occur in 2017. (Remember back in MCR 1.0, 12 pack Sparkling was regularly 100 points)

75 point maximum is still retained in 2017 program.

Unknown about potential changes to Sweepstakes but we might see a change to the "Instant Win" program with the new entry maximum instituted in the Holiday Instant Win this year.

On Thursday, I found four of my 12-pack coupons lying in the street in front of my house. I think the mailman dropped them out his truck's window while driving the 100 feet from my neighbors' mailbox to mine.
