Has anyone ever heard of a limit on bonus points?
Each day, I've been entering "roo" and a code five times (daily limit). Today when I typed "roo", I received the following message: Sorry to say, but you've enter the maximum amount of Bonus Points this week. Hang on to those, because the Weekly Points Tracker resets Monday at 12 a.m. ET. |

I wondered the same thing. I guess I'll find out in 24-48 hours. I entered 5 caps today, first entering "roo", then the cap code, and then the Walmart UPC. That should be a total of 65 bonus points (15 of 50). That said, it's possible that some of my caps were for bottles less than 20 oz; most aren't, but occassionally I get them. Well see. tls
And thanks to Out of Element for pointing out the Points History, which allowed me to confirm the above. I went back and checked for June. Apparently I am just getting senile, because I did not get any Walmart bonuses in June. tls |

Today when I typed "roo", I received the following message: My Weekly Points Tracker shows that I've only entered 39 points this week and says I can continue to earn bonus points if you've maxed out the 120 regular points. Is there a weekly "roo" maximum in addition to the 5x per day limit? What to do? If you try to enter your 5 codes now (just after 8pm EST) everything should work fine. You will have to wait until after 8pm EST tomorrow to enter 5 new codes. |
I have been doing the mcr thing for a long time now, and it just seems to get worse and worse.
I remember when I started, they had DVD's, complete seasons of popular programs like GLEE, and others that I cant remember now. But now it just seems like the catalog is garbage. I had been spending all my points on AMC movie passes as that is the only thing that even appealed to me. But now they dont even have the movie passes anymore, unless they are in one of the special summer catalogs. I cant find them though. If they dont get added back, looks like I will have to spend all my points on $150 in dominos gift cards. Unless they take those out too. Seems like you have hunt the internet to find these bonus things like "roo", and then most of the time they dont even work properly. Then after you save up 5000 points over 6 months ( 120 a week + bonuses ), the catalog doesnt even have much decent to offer. Look like I will just save my points until Christmas for the holiday catalog, and then try to get in within the 2 minute time frame before all the good deals sell out. |

I was looking thru old emails from MyCokeRewards and realized that I have not received any of the prizes from the "2013 Coke Zero Bracket Challenge" promotion.

Match Madness Contest - Cinch Bag Prize
A few days ago, my my wife received the "cinch bag" that I won for her in MCR's March Madness contest.
The tyvex envelope the prize was shipped in is actually sturdier than the material the prize is made of.... |

Unfortunately, points/miles programs will devalue over time.... I still believe MCR provides nice value in its current state. But it does require time, persistence, and patience to get the best deals/redemptions....According to MCR, there are currently more than 18 million members.... |

How to enter codes like ROO
I can't figure out how to enter the ROO code - do you do it in the code entry area? I've tried ROO, R00, with and without spaces, followed by my code, but no luck - what am I doing wrong?
Thanks! |

I have one question why would you build up 5000 points in "ONE" account that to me seems like a waste Find a prize, build a balance for that prize, coming say 500 points short so that you can add three points every so often to keep the balance alive and when it becomes available, fill in the rest of the points and purchase it Do that over a bunch of accounts and it becomes a lot more flexible |

FWIW, this evening (July 16), I received a "My Coke Rewards - Ship Notification" that says a T-Shirt has been shipped and will be received in 15-20 days.

I drink Coke Zero all the time anyway and my consumption would remain the same even if they eliminated the program today, so not like I'm spending any money on the program outside my time for entering codes. Pepsi and 7-up dont offer any kind of program like this AFAIK. |

I think it's a great deal. I hate how you have to use more points now for the sparkling 20 oz, but seeing there is nothing involved other than spending a couple seconds entering a code, I sure can't complain.

Believe it or not, Pepsi actually does have a program, but it's so bad and so poorly advertised that I wouldn't blame anyone for not joining.

Mike I remember 10 or 15 years ago for a couple summers pepsi had a program where collected codes off their products and you had to mail in the flaps with an order form and they shipped you prizes like t-shirts. |
