Although, I'll be bummed if this only works for 20oz, as I have a bucket of 20/24/2L caps mixed together. :(

On the other hand, would be weird only 20oz works for Diet Coke but 32/2L Powerade both work. But, happy for you :)

Af far as I know everything works with ROO. Powerade, Sprite, Coke, Minute Maid, Minute Maid Juices to go. Any size/any flavor, just as long as it is a cap. I do not know if white caps(2012? Polar Bear series) work though. I have none to try. I also got my remaining WalMart bonus so by using 9 caps I got myself 144 points. 27 for the normal points, 27 for Roo and 90 for WalMart ^

Just received an email with an incorrect point balance, claiming that my points expire in 14 days. However, when I log into my account, they don't expire until October.

beachmouse Jul 30, 2013 9:28 am

I got the same e-mail yesterday. Talked with MCR about it, and they said it was probably phishing like I suspected, and were otherwise indifferent about it.

If anyone gets that same e-mail, I would really suggest not clicking through anything on that e-mail to get to MCR, and if you already have, to change your password now.

As beachmouse has stated, this is a Phishing email....proceed with caution and do not use links in the email....

If I received one of these (which I have not) I would send an alert, to MCR and your email provider.

Agreed, quite a few seem to be getting them. Not I though.

**Update - it may be a glitch on Coke's end. Alas I have no email to see where they are originating from.

Probably a glitch. I got 2 of the "Got codes? Enter them now" emails yesterday within 5 minutes of each other. They both had different point totals on them with one being correct.

Its no more difficult than having to make sure your points don't expire by entering every so often.

If you use a system where you just log in, input, log out and rinse and repeat, its pretty easy. The household system is easily worked around

holding on for that reward that may or as its seeming more and more likely NEVER to arrive again (as in large good value awards) seems like such a waste

Its clear that MCR is playing the one per account limitations so they are the ones that are creating the multiple account situations. Had they allowed, you to redeem for as much as you had in an account, then I'd say you were doing it the right way, but they changed the rules in the middle of the game so I adapted. As have many others

Also, these bonus points (when they work) make it that much easier to get multiple accounts up to a useable balance pretty quick

I lost around 2000-3000 pts recently that I had built up amongst multiple accounts. I think I contacted support over a gift card that was not working and it keyed them into my multiple accounts...so they shut down all of the account except for one that had just been cashed out so it had a zero balance. luckily they have the 5 or 6 accounts per household so I just set it up that way...But losing all those points sucked and I chewed on some mcr reps on the phone but they would not budge!

I do not believe there is any way to tell a 12 oz, to a 16 oz, 16.9 oz, 20 oz, 24 oz, 1L, 1.25L, 1.5L, 2L to a 5L small Cap (if they were to make that Texas Size Bottle).

beachmouse Jul 31, 2013 9:33 am

Yeah. They're going to keep cap size pretty standardized for cost savings reasons. You get variations in cap color for branding purposes, but once you get past that, it makes financial sense to not have too many different types in your inventory to either have too many of or too few of at a given time.

And trying to have different types of codes on different types of caps beyond 'this set goes on red caps because it's for coca cola classic' runs into problems with keeping cap inventory open for use on different product runs. Which is why I feel okay using ROO an awful lot because the bottler just isn't going to have product runs for Kangaroo that are somehow distinct and delivered as such compared to the Citgo and Texaco stations on the same delivery route block.

Today's Wednesday Deal is a 1-month Club Pogo subscription for 10 points.

UPDATE: Got the 15 ROO points for the 5 known 20oz Diet Coke caps.

So today, I tried 5 caps from my mixed up bucket, in cap/ROO format. We'll see what happens with these, as I doubt all 5 would be 20oz caps.

Got the offer today after entering 5 Sprite caps. I *think* the 'free' album will cost $8.00 to cover the S & H charges.
