That is cheap. Perhaps it's time for a trip to Costco. :)

Has anyone had any luck with that -- or know when those points are supposed to be added (if there is some waiting period involved)?

Same here, and a few posted on facebook but no replies. I looked all over for the rules in the T&C on when the bonus points would be credited but found nada.

On an unrelated note the old 12 digit codes do not give you the bonus points. I actually found an old 12 digit (blue) cap while walking last week and tried it out.

All in all, I found 6 sprite caps thanks to the litterbugs and am hoping to get 50 bonus points from the that MCR I was awarded.

Kipper, did they have them still on sale this morning?

BTW, I haven't had a Pepsi in a while, but do they have a rewards program? I thought I collected caps and codes back in the day for something besides Coke, but I don't remember. Maybe it was Dr. P.

not sure. I was real surprised. I should have posted it yesterday, I was busy and forgot. This was the store in Madison, WI (not sure if all stores had it at that price).

I do know they change the prices on Coke all the time; I think it was $9.49 for quite awhile.

For some reason only the Diet Coke was that low. Regular Coke was $7.99.

Not sure if it's still that cheap today (there wasn't a sign it was some kind of special...).

Cool! Thought I'd actually have to send a tweet to collect, but just pretending is good enough.

Yes! The red pop-up noting 10 points on Coke Heart Truth comes after 5 seconds in the "pop-up to tweet" login box - whether any action or not.

BONUS: The same "tweet fake" works on the 3rd step of the BIG GAME promo to tweet about the commercial, but the red 10 point box comes up about 10 seconds after the "pop-up to tweet" login box shows up.

Thank you muchly!

Entered Southwest and won 40 mcr pts. Entered the code on MCR and got nada. Not sure if it will update with pts later or the max number of persons has been met.

Saw the coke at $7.99 @ Costco today.

I did not even get the e-mail message with the confirmation on how to activate the 40 points in my My Coke Rewards account.

I agree.

I now regret participating in this, as I probably will not even receive the points which I “won”...

I got em, no problems.

I did not make it to Costco today.

Pepsi did have a program at one point. I think perhaps the first summer that Coke had MCR?

beachmouse Feb 3, 2013 5:30 pm

I remember the Pepsi points because they had a cross-promotion going on with Quizno's when I used to eat there and my Quizno's was always out of the correct cups with the bonus point codes on them.

This was well after the start of the first version of MCR back in the days when a branded t-shirt was about a 130 point redemption.

SquaresBowl Prizes?

I won 200 MCR Points.... which "has an approximate retail value of $8.00". Yeah, sure.

So.... did any FTers win the "Free NABISCO cracker" prize that is currently scrolling across the Squarebowls website?

5 free 20 ounce bottles, that have an obscene retail price of their own.

I have the board about 40% covered, hit on 95 and 100, probability is likely not in my favor in the raffle though.

bob12403 Feb 3, 2013 8:42 pm

You want to hear about an obscene retail price? My daughter won a one year subscription to Sports Illustrated, with an "approximate retail value of $279.44."

LMAO. One year on the newsstand may be that price, but just by going to Amazon I can pick up a one-year sub for $39. With a little digging I'm sure I could find it for even less.
