Is there anyway members of the family can have two e-miles accounts on the same computer or have e-miles accounts on two different computers in the same house? What if you have the same home address, yet one person uses Starbucks wifi for access?

well, that sounds like one of those little things they didnt think of over there, meaning if you write them somehow, you may not find out for a month or so. You would think it would be possible but it proves to me why humans need to exist in customer service.

As for that, I did notice that since emiles did it's change, it has also gotten slower and there's less opps now.

Do they do something to prevent two family members from joining? Only my husband has an e-miles account now linked to US. I don't have one in my name but thinking of getting one. Do they block your IP or use cookies or something for the second account?

I doubt it. I manage my own E-miles account as well as my spouse's on the same computer. Usually I log in to both of our accounts one right after the other. Never had a problem doing that.

Same here with no issues

same here, although I must admit that I was invited, whereas my husband requested an invitation thru Northwest. He was a member for 2 years before I was invited.

Anyone know how they are handling the Oct 01 merge of NW and DL miles accounts? I have my e-miles on NW will they switch you over to DL automatically?

I asked a month ago and they said they didn't know.

I average maybe 500 miles a quarter doing the 2 min surveys...

Appears so. Go to your e-Miles "Account Statement" page and you should see a message like this:

"XXX XXXX, you're being rewarded for you time by Delta Air Lines® in Delta SkyMiles!"

If you go to your e-Miles "Deposits" page you also should see this: "You have chosen to earn e-Miles® miles with Delta Air Lines®."

Would have been nice if e-Miles would have informed their members what was going on, but perhaps they figured it was "a given" since one airline absorbed the other.

At least wih e-Miles, the redemption "rates" are staying the same with Delta as they were with NW (500 pts for 500 miles). With e-Rewards, the terms for Delta redemptions only allow one exchange every 180 days. (With NW, it was one redemption allowed every quarter.)

Best,
TMichaels

NW members committed to DL change?

Does the change from NW to DL fit one of the categories that would allow you to change partners? Also I redeemed miles to NW in late September, before the program merge, and they haven't shown up yet. At what point will they take an inquiry about that?

I also have the same situation going here. It shows the following in "Deposite History":

9/22/09 500 miles Pending Northwest

That's 3 weeks of delay :(

And in the account contact information the sponsor's name has changed to Delta but the sponsor's account number remains the NWA ff number
