Pending MyPoints

Having had a MyPoints account for almost 3 years, I can't recall seeing as many pending points appear on my account statement as I have this year so far. I think it's happened four times and for a variety of activities, such as non-qualification for a survey or contest entry.

Anyone else noticed this lately or am I just imagining things again?

You're not crazy, I've noticed the same thing. No idea what it means, but at least in my case, they've all become available points eventually, so I'm not complaining.

Same here and I didn't mean to imply in OP that any had not had the pending status lifted as of the stated date, but just hadn't seen quite so many cases of pending points in 3+ years.

A lot of the company posting policies changed with the new site look. For example, Office Depot used to be available right away for spending; now my 4,000 points are pending for a month.

My Points posting time

My pendings seem to post in just a few days. I don't buy much through their portal, though. I rely on the 5 point emails and the registrations and easy points.

I just redeemed for 2500 HH and they showed up in my HH account in 3 days. Not too shabby, compared to some of what I've read here about posting delays...

My pending points have been postdated much further in the future, closer to a month or two.

Wow, that's pretty impressive. I redeemed a week ago, and am still waiting, but I'm just hoping it doesn't take more than 6 weeks!

Pending isn't the problem I'm having. It's points i've earned not posting at all. Today I sent email to CS on no less than 6 offers that I did more than two weeks ago but have not received points in any form, not even pending.

Also, beware the iwon.com promo on mypoints. The latest version of Internet Explorer blocks iwon.com as a source of malware. Appears that there is a hidden download when you click "submit."

A number of companies' points don't post for a month, so don't fret. CS won't do anything until after the month is up.

I find it weird that Memolink is becoming faster than MyPoints in crediting your account for points. Full moon perhaps?

Finally reached my 5K before I say adios to MyPoints and went to click on redeem for HH but noticed latest credit that put me over 5K pending for month.

Once I've kissed MyPoints buh-bye after doing the same to E-Rewards a while back life will be so much simpler.

I've notice a bunch of pending points this year as well. I'm not even sure where most of them are from, I don't do much with mypoints except click on their e-mails, which nets me a small gift card every few months for my efforts. I still have Memolink too but hardly ever click on their e-mails...it seems impossible to get enough points for anything useful!

Double

Just logged on and noticed my pending total now 240! Of course it comes, coincidentally, just as I'm about to redeem a 5K award. So far, I'd have to wait until mid Dec. for all 5 bunches held as pending to clear.

Sorry to hear your Mypoints pending "sentence" is extended from mid-Nov to mid-Dec, tcook052. Since there's about a month wait-time, I would suggest you keep up with your 5-point-clicker "ritual." Usually one month of 5-pt "clickers" will give you enough for some small item. Small but maybe good enough for a Xmas stuffer for the young ones.

If your account is anything like mine, the pending points *do* eventually post...I do like knowing that they are in the queue.

Goldpoints, on the other hand, is always a mystery, never know if the points are pending or not, so I always have to wait it out to see if purchases correctly registered when I bought, etc.! Very much of a pain, but points are points I guess and when they do post, they add up.
