Thank you both for the notes. However, after 4+ years accumulating, fighting for missing credits and time spent, I'm not sure it's all worth it. Yes, it's one way to keep your HH acount active, which is what I've been using the online reward programs like MyPoints and E-Rewards for. But it all seems to have become too much bother for what I'm getting back, especially now the lower redemption levels a thing of the past. It has taken me 18 months, and that's only a guess since I can't pull up my last redemption at MyPoints, to get to 5K I would rather just buy a few thousand HH points once a year rather than spent untold hours trying to play the game.

Oh, I know to each their own and my experience will be vastly different from others. I travel strictly on leisure and always on my own dime, so can't always afford Hilton's which is why these programs allowed me to top-up my HH acount to a point where I could redeem for one or two nights at somewhere like the Conrad SIN as I did few years back while on a NW MR. And I'm not a big online shopper so gained little points from that.

Once I get to the end of this pending period, I think I'll turn the tables and make my participation in MyPoints pending further review.

Hmmm. I just checked mypoints to compare redemptions and I don't see Hilton among the travel redemption options! Am I losing it or is that option now gone?

I've noticed the trend toward increasing wait times until the points are available as well. So, keeping that in mind, I did a bunch of my shopping a bit early so that I could then turn in the points for some gift cards.

Seems that there may be fewer merchants on the redeem side of things as well. I can't remember which merchant I was looking for, but I scrolled down the list and it looked much shorter than before.

You are right-I just checked yesterday and it was there.I have been saving my points to reach the 5000 to redeem for Hilton.Unfortunately, some are pending so I couldn't do it.I sure hope they return in the next few weeks-or I am certainly done with MYpoints.

Same here if HH is off the list I'll really be short for my next CUN stay.

WOW! I can't believe Mypoints just did that! I specifically checked the redemption options two days ago and HH was there at the 5k level.

NO MORE today! HH is really missing!! Are they coming back?

Even though I am not up to redeem for HH yet, if Mypoints will not bring back HH, I know for sure one of our fellow FTers will turn into McSteamyMAD!

You read my mind, tcook052, and even responded so fast before I could edit in my "McSteamyMAD" comment!

I wholeheartedly agree...it does take up a lot of time with little reward, especially if HH is gone for good.

Pending points from purchases takes a week or two to clear to prevent you from buying and then returning the purchased items...

Been Mypoints members since last 2001, I have no problems with them. But then again, I never shopped with them. Just an hour a week cleaning out their email from my inbox...

only 10 pts pending and another 6k points in the piggy.
wondering what I should do with it, maybe a 50 USD gas card...hmmm

This is pending points for surveys, responding to offers, etc. and are pending for one month for some strange reason that I haven't come to fully appreciate yet.

Now at 365 MyPoints pending. This is getting a little ridiculous.
