I wrote an email to Erewards 5 days ago and no reponse.

Is anyone else having this problem?
My experience was this, just this week. 90 days from my last reward was 3/11. On 3/11 and 3/12 I got the error about once a year. on 3/17 it let me redeem, and posted immediatly.

It has always been my experience that the 90 days for E-rewards/Hilton is more like 92+ even though they post immediatly. YMMV, but I wouldn't worry until I tried at day 95.

For what it's worth here's my observation about redemptions. You can't redeem within 90 days so they mean the beginning of the 91st day you can. If I redeemed at 5:00 p.m. then it won't let me redeem until after 5:00 p.m. I have tried to redeem in the morning of what counts out to be the 91st day and no luck. Just get the message that my 90 days aren't up. Try a couple of hours later and it goes through. In other words they appear to be keeping track of the time as well as the day.

Redeeming $100 for 2 Hilton (3,000 point) rewards

I have $100 to redeem at E-Rewards and figured Hilton HHonors points seemed the best deal (are there any concurrences on this?). However, there is no 6,000 HHonors points option for $100 in E-Rewards -- the highest HHonors points option is 3,000 points for $50 in E-Rewards. Therefore, I was going to redeem two transactions of $50 each for a total of 6,000 points. Since all of this 90-day business of which you are all speaking, does this mean I actually have to perform these two transactions 90 days apart??
Thanks!

Yes - you can only redeem for 3000 HH points once each 90 days. So to redeem for 6000 HH points, you will have to do so with 90 days in between.

Thanks for the clarification -- I'd better go start the redemption process now!

My HHonors points were just credited (about 10 days after being taken from my e-Rewards account) last week. I, too, had to try a few times before the 90-day window opened again. I couldn't remember exactly when it was since the Hilton website doesn't show a transaction date (or at least it doesn't on mine!) for the e-Rewards points.

I also used my MyPoints for some HHonors points this year... looks like I'll have to go on vacation soon.

I have never redeemed e-rewards currency but am close to $50 and 3000 HHonors points is what I'm interested in. Can someone please tell me, do you specify which HHonors account #? Can I designate those 3000 points go into my sister's HHonors account?

Here's the terms and conditions:

Terms and Conditions

- This e-Rewards redemption is an HHonors Reward Exchange.
- Exchanges may only be made in the specific increments indicated, and both the e-Rewards program account and the HHonors account must be in the same name.
- Once an Exchange is made, it cannot be reversed or undone.
- The HHonors Reward Exchange is a benefit of the Hilton HHonors Program, and is subject to all HHonors Program Terms and Conditions.

However, the same last/family name redemption seems to work for some folks.

I am now post-90-days and have tried to redeem several times.

I get the screen that asks for my eRewards, password, HHonors # and HHonors PIN.

I press submit, I get screen that tells me my award will be delivered electronically -- but nothing happens! Still exact same number of dollars in my account and nothing shows up in my HHonors acct.

Any clues? (I've tried this a number of times)

The e-Reward system seems to have glitch quite frequently ever since they "upgraded" their site.

Today I did a Survey and tried the "earn more" button - usually the earn more button will bring up some short questions for a few dimes - this time it did not but asked log in. Also the survey remained open to me eventhough I already did it.

I would assume the HHonor redemption or any other redemptions would be subj to the glitches quite often. Just try again tomorrow.

Set Your calendar

You can only redeem every 90 days. At 91 days exactly each of the last 3 times I redeemed with no problem. If I try at 90 it bombs out. One bad part is that because I have a shared account I used to be able to have me redeem every 90 days and my wife would also redeem hilton points every 90 days for a total of 24K a year. Late last year they caught on and now they are not just checking that you redeem with Erewards but if the hilton account actually got points every 90 days.

And every time I have redeemed before I can even go to the hilton site to check the points are already there. At least that is my experience.

This is odd....

It finally worked after I cleared my browser's cache.

Thanks! We do have the same last name.
