Since 3,000 HHonors points are worth about $20 in redemption value for hotel rooms, that tells you something about the true value of e-rewards currency.
In other words, $50 of e-rewards currency = $20 US. (Just consider that the next time you contemplate answering one of their lengthy surveys for a few "dollars" which may or may not even post.)
And for those who keep saying to redeem e-rewards currency for AA miles, the last I looked, you had to have a recent paid flight on AA in order to do such a redemption.
By the way, it seems to me this thread is really about the e-rewards program, not about Hilton HHonors. @:-)

E-rewards is an easy way to earn HHonor points (but very slow). I have been a member for almost 5 years and have cashed out $350 erewards dollars for 21,000 points.

With e-rewards, you can get 2000 AA miles, 2000 NW miles, and soon (so they say) 2000 DL miles. Also, 12,000 HH points, and 6 free Blockbuster movies (some say you can get the Blockbuster award 2x per year, others say once). Thus, that 525 or 550 e-reward that I find useful. Have gotten the AA and NW miles so far this year as well as a Blockbuster award. Have about $135 in my account now, so will get DL if they do start mid-march, and should have enough to redeem my next HH in mid-April as well. Yeah, the e-rewards take time, but it's free miles/points, so ... tls

Hopefully, additional valuable information about the e-Rewards program will be added to this thread.
I left a re-direct to this thread in the Hilton forum.
