2500 mileageplus miles for 5000 mypoints is still a very good deal. So is the Hhonors points one to one transfer ( even though min is 2500 now instead of 1000 ).

That said, while the minimum transfer has increased as of late, I'm still partial to redeeming for HHonors points. I don't think that the 1:1 transfer is particularly poor for them, but there are probably better (non-travel) uses for MyPoints these days.
