Well, considering that AS has not been a MyPoints award for
over three years, I guess it's been some time ago, indeed.
That said, while the minimum transfer has increased as of late, I'm still partial to redeeming for HHonors points. I don't think that the 1:1 transfer is particularly poor for them, but there are probably better (non-travel) uses for MyPoints these days.
