Mypoints and United certs

Has anyone redeemed Mypoints for the $50 (3,750 points) and $75 (5,750) United travel certs? Reason I am asking is as I am wondering:

a) Is there a minium ticket value before these discounts can be applied?
b) Are these electronic and hence instant, or are they paper and mailed which would take about a few weeks?

There is no description of these certs on the Mypoints site....

Thanks!

I redeemed My Points for the $75.00 cert, and had no problem using it on an international flight. It was paper, and I had to go to the airport to use it.I'm sorry, but I don't remember if there was a minimum fare,. The class of tickets that it could be used for is specified on the site, I believe.
I was very happy with it because I so rarely get discount coupons for international flights.

RE:my points UA certs

The minimum for a $75 cert is a roundtrip ticket of $350.00 or more.($200 for a $25.00 cert). I let one of these go bad, when I had trouble using it. It's an "A" cert in the US, but a "B" cert on international, and can not be combined with some other coupons/vouchers/discounts. I can't remember all the details now.

Question Transferrable?

For those who had redeemed the paper MP certificates, are they transferrable? i.e. Do they come as the $25 discount cert that comes with your MP visa, with your name on it? Need to know if I can gift it to my sis since I have enough Mypoints for it.

Thanks!

RE:mp certs

No name printed on the cert. Appear to be completely transferable. You have to print the flyer's name, return date, and flight no. at the bottom. If you're lucky, they won't write in the expiration date at the top.
