I thought of a possible loophole. Since promo codes can be used to buy restaurant.com gift cards, one may buy gift cards at the 80% (highest?) discount available at the time up front, and then use that card to buy the specific restaurant gift certs as needed on an ongoing basis (gift cards don't expire). This eliminates the need to only buy when the high discount code is out. Has anyone tried this? Also, why do the offers keep constantly changing? I noticed restaurant.com awards 18 miles per dollar spent through the AAdvantage E-Shopping mall - good deal. Has anyone had experience with TrialPay?

jetBlueNYFL, the system you describes definitely works. You can even buy one of the monthly subscriptions with a discount. Last Christmas I bought a family member a 12 month subscription to Diner of the Month for $24 (80% off). They got 12 $25 certificates a year and Restaurant.com even threw in a freebie for me so it = 13 $25 gift certificates for $24.

Is it common for any of the restaurants to accept more than one certificate at a time? That would be a real bargain!

Of course that's how you do it. That's actually the only way to get the really popular ones(at 80% discount)at the beginning of the month when there are no discounts yet. Places like Stripburger in Las Vegas sell out(only a certain number are available each month)within the hour of new certificates being available & this is how you get 80% off for places like this.:)
Good luck & have fun.
