When there's a good % off offer available from Restaurant.com it's a good idea to buy gift certificates at that rate and then redeem them for your restaurant of choice when you need them.:)

This also helps you get around restaurants whose gift certificates are more expensive than normal--for instance, if a restaurant has a $25 cert for $15 instead of $10, just buy yourself a restaurants.com cert ($25 for $10 before whatever discount you have), then turn around and redeem it for the "expensive" restaurant.
