Boy do I wish I'd waited just a little longer......

I'm wondering if you get multiple $10 certs for multiple orders? If so, we all can rack up a boatload of certs for dirt cheap. A $10 cert plus 60% off for every order? I guess it applies even when one buys just one cert at a time (a $4 order). Somebody correct me if I'm wrong! Here are the terms:

I have a little problem... I bought 2 certificates for a restaurant that has since closed. I emailed restaurant.com and got no response. Any ideas?

email them again. They did not respond to my first email a month or so after Katrina closed down some New Orleans restaurants but eventually they did. They'll make good.

Over this past weekend, Restaurant.com emailed me a link to exchange a certificate I have for a now closed San Diego restaurant. I didn't request it. I actually had no idea the restaurant had closed.

I too got several certificates returned to me over the weekend.

Just figured out that the $10 gift certs are not compatible with discount codes. In other words, a $10 gift cert will get you a $10 off meal cert for your restaurant of choice, not $10 off your restaurants.com order (after discounts applied and stuff).

We've used restaurant.com a few times so far and have always been pretty pleased with the results. I'd like to buy some the next time they have a sale but we're always traveling and wondered how good they are at exchanging them if we don't use them before we leave town?? Has anyone else had this issue?

I copied this from the certificate terms and conditions:

Dining certificates can be exchanged for Restaurant.com Certificate within 90 days of purchase date. No cash back on dining certificates.

So, it seems you could exchange them within the 90 days if you didn't end up using them.

Does anyone have a new code? I'm kicking myself that I didn't buy more at the 60% off plus the free $10 cert.
