Normal price is $10 for a $25 certificate. A 60% discount is taken from the $10 leaving a cost of $4. The discount we talk about is not calculated from face. Highest I've seen was 70% r(cost $3) ight after Christmas.

You can buy gift certificates when the discounts are valid, then redeem them at the beginning of the month when the "good" restaurants are available again. I just buy large "mega" certificates once in a while, bookmark the redemption URL, and use them a little at a time.

Finding Restaurants

I'm having problems finding any restaurants on their list. I've searched by zip code and by state. I get 0 results no matter what I do. I've searched for Seattle, the Bay Area, and Orange County, CA.

Perhaps they are having site problems right now. Am I missing something.

I am having the same problem with restaurants in VA. All the restaurants are showing as out of the stock for the month. They must be having an error.

Things seem to be back to normal. I put in my zip code and now have 100 restaurant choices within my home zip code. Must have been having some IT problems the other day (or perhaps I was the one having the issues).

The useage says once a month. Does this mean once every calendar month or every 30 days?

I find that this is not enforced. I'd avoid using the same waiter or doing it more than once a week.
