E-Rewards $ Posting Problem

I have been waiting for a $10 erewards posting for about 30 days now. I emailed customer service and on July 1rst was told that they acknowledged the survey and it would post by the end of the week. Well that would have been July 2nd. Or if they meant the next week July 9th. I didn't see it this weekend. Help me how long is too long to wait for a posting? I just did another survey for $15 on Friday.

I have nearly given up on these guys. $50 equals 3000 HH points which I value around $20, i.e. one tenth of a $200 per night stay. I currently have $21 in outstanding surveys since mid May. The time taken to send multiple emails to chase up each one (five in all) is just not worth it. I will send one last cover all email and if no response consign them to spam.

Yes, others of us have experienced this type of problem.

Sometimes you have to e-mail customer service TWO OR THREE TIMES to get them to post the $ for this type of survey.

I've had many of these surveys and only once did I have to email multiple times to get the $$ posted.

I think your calculation is about right - I also exchange to Hilton only.
I am not sure, if I got all $/points ... I don't keep track ... the value is really not that great.

You are correct that the value is not that great and I am only keeping track of those which are large (relatively speaking); that being $5 per shot or more. The rest are a nuisance to track.

I am looking mostly to exchange to supplement my Hilton account. Ebags looks like it has potential except that they have so many things excluded from using the discount that it may not be worth it. Has anyone used their $ for Ebags.com

I used Ebags once a long time ago

Now I do AA as often as possible (which is not often enough for my travels) and then....I guess....Hilton. So far mine post OK.

I find that 90-95% of the big money surveys post just fine. It's only a small portion that don't. And for all of them I've been able to get them to post it by emailing customer service. Sure, it's a minor pain to have to monitor them to make sure they post. But I greatly value the AA and Hhonors awards. So I don't mind monitoring them.

No, it's NOT only a matter of time. I've waited over a month for rewards to post that were supposed to post in 7-10 business days. Then I've e-mailed customer service, waited for a response, gotten a response that the rewards would post, then waited another three weeks, sent another e-mail....

You get the idea. It shouldn't take two months and two or three complaints to customer service to get things to post.

I guess not everyone has these problems. I'm one of the unlucky ones, though.

That's sort of what I think - an e-rewards posting problem will hit everyone eventually.

I signed up for one of those instant offers and never got credit for it (the Allegra mailing list - which is actually useful to me with my allergy problems 3 months out of the year). It's only $2, but it's $2 closer to HHonors points for me.

Allegra didn't post for me, either

I emailed customer service a couple of weeks ago, and problem still hasn't been resolved. I understand it's a small $ amount, but it's irritating having to follow up, and still getting no response.

The problem I have is the first customer service response said "blah blah post by the end of the week" so I though ok someone spent some time figuring it out and will post it for me. 2 weeks later I email customer service again and I get the same response in the exact same wording. Ok now I see canned response so now I don't know if someone is actually looking into it or not.

They owed me about $60. I sent 4-5 emails over a 6 month period (it wasn't really worth the trouble but I was annoyed). Then I sent the same email with a note that I would be sending it every day til they did the right thing. I only had to send that a couple of days in a row before they finally responded. I intend to use that strategy in the future.
